Unfortunately the cottage break did not work out...
So, an update. I've not been posting for a week. Frankly, fed up of trying and not getting anywhere!!
The cottage has a few issues so I won't be able to visit until at least August!
The rental will now be used by the daughter of the family who has returned from travelling abroad.
Sigh.
There has been a delay in my treatment. I could rage about the NHS...Or, I could create my own plan to deal with pain and improve my basic health. I'm staying active and my sleeping has improved.
Action plan...
Week 1 Osteopath
Week 2
Week 3 Osteopath
Week 4 Acupuncture
I am basically fine and still travelling to view new houses (Yesterday I viewed two)
Finances? A fair bit of frittering. Especially wasteful on eating and drinks outside of the house.
Action plan...
Buy salad veggies and lunch fruits and foods.
Stock up on nice coffee
Reasons to be cheerful?
Keeping to my high savings target

I'm really sorry the cottage break and rental didn't work out. Good to have a plan for your health as well, though the delays are so frustrating, and I hope you don't have to wait too long.

Sounds frustrating to have something dangled in front of you then snatched away - especially when it seems to have come in multiples. Hope things improve for you soon. Be kind to yourself along the way.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
