It may not seem too big in person and photos can be very deceptive
Also bigger can sometimes be easier to clean (as daft as it sounds)
Bigger can mean more rooms for hobbies etc
Easier to sell on should you ever need or want toI think I will view it just in case...

Definitely worth a view. I would be loathe to buy the house that’s being sold by the charity to be honest as they’re being too greedy. I live in a big house with a big garden and I manage to maintain it myself.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

and I do agree and I am also loathe, but also in great need of a home. So, I am willing to be messed about with although I moan about it. What I will not do however is overpay for the house!

Definitely book a viewing. Think of it like this, if you need to you can take in a lodger. Or, in a way, repay the kindness of friends who have given you a place to stay in your time of need? What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?3

Have a look at the potential house and it could be perfect for business ideas you have. Location sounds wonderful 😊
Maybe have a room on a1r'b'n occasionally, if there's events or shows on.
As for the garden being too big, if there is such a thing, section it off and have a decent size patio, with a herb garden in front of that, perhaps the next section could be a greenhouse and some veg, after that fruit trees and bushes and lastly a wild flower garden to keep insects and birds happy.
