Chrystal said:Hope you get some positive feedback from the EA. XXX
I had a good sleep. I was shocked when I woke and saw daylight. All the way through from the night. So pleased
I had my little walk to Mr L. There were lots of veggie boxes today. I traded bananas for broccoli with a mum who gave one immediately to her child in the pram. I bought 2 veggie boxes as they were so very fresh today so should last a while. They don't have them all the time either. Also one was more fruit focused and the other more vegetable. I really like that veg boxes force you to eat a wide variety. Also, I eat much better when I have them as I dislike waste so eat them up. So my £3 on veggie boxes gave me the following:
8 oranges
3 large carrots
6 apples (two bruised I will chop them up for breakfast)
2 unripe avocados
2 pak choi
14 potatoes (2 of them jackets)
2 sweet potatoes
2 onions
1 large white cabbage
1 lemon
2 cauliflowers (small but good)
1 organic head of broccoli
6 lovely black plums
4 bananas
3 large peppers (red, yellow, orange)
2 small unripe pears
A great haul for £3. I will be eating plant based for the next week!
Off to chop up some fruit for breakfast. It will be veggie soup for lunch. I'm thinking veggie curry and quinoa for later...
Wishing everyone a good day

Great haul on the veg boxes.
Glad you have a link through to make an appointment even if there were none immediately available. Well done for keep chasing.
Good luck with the EA. I personally would want the control of a freehold and would want to avoid service charges which can be really hefty and increase by unknown amounts which makes budgeting difficult. Obviously with a whole house though all the maintenance costs are yours - but you have more choices of how you maintain the property etc.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Lovely to have a good night's sleep
Your veg boxes are great! I've only ever managed to get one once I think."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -
Good luck and fingers crossed they now see sense. I'd not want leasehold either, unless that's all I could afford.

Thank you @Seasidegal58 @savingholmes @jwil @MovingForwards
A mixed night to report. Not a great sleep but not the worst I've had. Thinking of the night before, when I slept through. I'm going to try to recreate those conditions. So tonight I will have a salt bath before I go to sleep. It might be that it relaxes the nerves in my back...Going to give it a go...
EA have yet to come back to me. Disappointing.
MSE wise the veg boxes are really helping to keep shopping costs down. I'm also not popping out for coffees. Today, I am having a NSD. I will go for a walk in the park and also read my book for my free 'treat' activities.
MSE to do list:
claim a delay-repay
register admin first step so I can reduce costs further down the line
phone for a form that may result in a financial boost
General to do list:
wash hair
exercise
walk
I am roasting some broccoli and cauliflower. My favourite way to have them
Hope everyone is ok
Edited to say my NSD is cancelled as I want/need chocolate today!
Also, listening to a programme on fraud and realising I need to set up credit reference agency alerts. It seems to be a matter of good housekeeping financially to get this done...

Just catching up now DIA, hopefully the EA gets back to you soon.I’ve found that tai chi exercise works when I need to centre myself. But I would recommend weight training the most. It changes my awareness of my body and fills it with positive feeling.
For your situation I would also consider a hanging chair or swing to let your body have a break from supporting itself.2
