    My mum much to her horror uses a shopping trolley when she’s heavy stuff to carry - would that help ?

    You left your offer on the table, just keep looking at others and if nothing else pops up in a month or so, whatever you're comfortable with, call the EA and ask they follow up to see if the seller will now accept it.
