Thanks @WelshmansDaughter and @savingholmes. Having a savings goal is helping to motivate me
I am waiting for a delivery of tea. Green tea has so may proven health benefits so I am keen to explore. There is an Earl Grey green tea I am very interested to try
I got up early walked down the hill. I had a swim then a steam for 10 minutes where I did my stretches then walked back up the hill. I feel tired but good and my joints do not feel stiff. I need to take coffee and a snack next time. I use my Liberty beauty box free quarterly goodies for my shower after as a MSE treat
Yesterday I made flapjacks. I used hemp and sunflower seeds and oats as a base then added blueberries and seeds. A bit of honey and some 100% cocoa chocolate. They are edible but the next batch will be a bit sweeter. I want to always have a sweet treat so I can avoid more expensive options when out.
There is an 8 min exercise programme in the Times (I think) this week, so I'm adding that to my daily regime.
I'm feeling better, so I will be back to eating frogs soon
Wishing everyone a good week

Well done on the exercise.
Totally relate on wanting to have sweet things with me so not tempted to buy expensive versions while out.

Thanks @Brie and @WelshmansDaughter I'm going to go for both ripe bananas and golden syrup next time
Thanks @savingholmes it is raining this morning. That shouldn't be an excuse not to walk to swimming but it somehow is...your praise might be premature...
I didn't go swimming this morning. I struggle with walking to swimming when it is raining...I know....
New trainers are here to encourage walking. They seem a bit narrow, will try on properly later...
I found bread I can eat. Much cheaper than current stuff and good when I don't want to make my own.
I paid the deposit for a creative trip next month. Train fares hard to organise as one side available, but not return.
I found train tickets to new area for less than half price. Trying to find a nice but cheaper than the treat place I usually use. Then I can organise myself a cheap 2 night break in the winter so I can experience new area in winter. Love the coast out of season.
Strangely, my cc company have dropped my interest rate in line with my management of my account apparently! I hardly ever pay interest anyway as I remember the hell of dead money paying off debts and interest.
I have half a lovely cauliflower in the fridge so off to make a cauliflower dal
Have a good day

Good news on a positive credit rating - and better that you don't really need it.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks @WelshmansDaughter and @savingholmes
I didn't organise the 2 night break after all.
I bought some rubbish chocolate yesterday and ate it all. My housemate is away, cue lots of moping about eating crisps and chocolate. I took myself in hand today and I have eaten well all day. Ok, maybe a bit of chocolate, but the dark stuff, and not loads.
I saw a lovely lampshade in cs yesterday. Went back today after dithering and it was gone! He who snoozes, loses! Lesson learnt...
A house I viewed that I loved has come back with a new agent. It has been reduced by 50,000. It was hugely overpriced but I wanted to see it in case it came down...It has...I love it but would have to offer below by about 30,000. I doubt very much the vendor will accept. I will leave it for a week in case it is snapped up at a higher rate. You never know...
I am going to force myself to stick to my savings target this month as it makes a difference to what I can offer.
Hope everyone had a good day

If you snooze you lose! If you love the house get in there now and make your best offer. You never know it might get snapped up by someone else at a lower rate. You are in a great position to move quickly and a cash buyer. Hope things work out for you 🤞
