Thanks @mark55man your posts give me hope
Thanks @MovingForwards swimming does indeed rest my calm
Thanks @jwil and @savingholmes the small windfall was put to good use before my sod-it muscle activated
Thanks @WelshmansDaughter If home is in the mind, does you losing your train of thought mean you made yourself temporarily homeless
So the whole week has been full of other people. I feel I am bending myself out of shape. A relative has asked me to help for 3 days. I thought about it and said I would do 2 days. They agreed. Good for me. I need to be more boundaried.
I was looking for a BnB for when I view in the new area. I need a break from other people!! I can't find anywhere for a reasonable price so I will be turning it into a long day. I will prep some nice food and take a flask for a little picnic on the beach. (or in a shelter if raining like a very old person) I will have F&Cs before I come home...cheaper that way.
I hope everyone is having a good Sunday
Edited, as I was complaining about a friend and feel bad about moaning. Thanks @jwil and @in_need_of_direction I will make the most of my viewing day

I'm sorry that the event did not go well, that's very thoughtless of your friend.

Well done for setting boundaries.
Is there a B&b a little further out, have a stroll after a nice day viewing?

Thanks everyone
@MovingForwards setting boundaries feels good. I need to keep mindful about doing it more.
@jwil yes, the sea is always good for the soul!
So, update...
I am more positive than when I last posted.
I went to the viewing. The house was not right. It was not a wasted visit as at a viewing for a flat I met someone, we got chatting, they were in exactly my position so we arranged to meet for coffee and then after coffee we went walking on the beach. We are staying in touch. They are between homes too. They have been in storage for a year and a half. They move from friend to friend every few months. I felt grateful to be where I am...Also, they recommended a great new cafe with lovely, reasonably priced food.
The younger relative repaid the loan in full today. So pleased, for the money, for the relationship and for my state of mind. I started to think my judgement was off.
I've added a new part of the area to widen my search. I discounted this part of the area as it is quite hilly, no local shops. Wonderful views. Only half a mile from the beach but steep. Half a mile to the train station. Very peaceful...
I will be treating my host to a meal out tomorrow to celebrate the return of my funds. I put the funds back immediately but I have been more careful lately as I was worried I might not get funds back, so I have a small surplus
I am going to try a swim later at night today to see if it improves my sleep
Wishing everyone a good end of the week
