I am tempted by storage units but then I always talk myself out of it by pointing out that I could just buy a shed cheaper2

Thanks everyone. We can all agree storage is expensive, especially over a long time scale.
@peb well done for swimming

I swam this morning. I did half my usual lengths as pool was quite crowded. I might give weekends a miss. The best time is very early or very late as the pool is emptier. But, I had the chance to stretch for 15 mins in the steam room as I had it to myself.
I have spent forever booking travel tickets. Due to train strikes and engineering works I am trying a coach. I am taking it overnight. I am good at sleeping on transport. I arrive the next day with time for breakfast and trip to a gallery before getting a train the rest of the journey. A bit of an adventure and a fraction of the price. Booking tickets feels more complicated than it should be.
I picked up some YS food items and a physical paper for a treat.
Feeling anxious about houses. I have looked at my spreadsheet 100 times
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekendIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Good luck with the viewings. Hope the anxiety improves soon x"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2

I'm a big fan of coach transport despite being taller than average. but yes it is all so complicated even if you are travelling directI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine3 -
I did Scotland to Paris and back on a coach it was great.3

Thank you @jwil I think my anxiety is me really wanting a house that has come on the market, but knowing my best offer is 5% below asking. Even if I get it, I am exhausting my budget and will still need to find a small 4 figure amount! Anyway, I feel better after a good sleep. Thank you. Good to see you back.
Good to read your positive experiences of coach travel @mark55man and @WelshmansDaughter. I am travelling far South to Edin, initially. I have six hours there and then I catch a train onwards towards the Highlands. Than a shared taxi. Same coming back. I should be able to do the whole thing for £120. I'll take food and coffee with me but put aside £30 for coffee and cakes both ways
Today I am sorting travel for another trip. I already paid the deposit and I have until the end of the year to take the trip. I'm hoping to fund it all for a reasonable cost...
My green tea came. I have an excellent Earl Grey green tea that I'm really enjoying
A suggestion from @Skint_yet_Again to do a budget for the new area led me to do 2 one for now and one for the new area. Budgets are helping me absorb the message that: 'all shall be well and all shall be well and all manner of thing(s) shall be well...'
Happy Sunday x
