@jwil @Skint_yet_Again @24ta @beanielou @savingholmes @Humdinger1 thank you
Yesterday was back and forward with the EA. I am being pushed on the price. I increased the price by £750 but that is it. I am standing firm simply because I can't realistically go higher. Even if I get it at the price on the table I will have a four figure sum to find from somewhere. I will hopefully know more today. I also found out the vendor will be chain free too. If I take a small loan it will still be better in the long run than taking a larger lump sum from a DB pension and leaving myself with a smaller income forever.
I am exploring a minimum wage job, part-time, so I can save more. The more I save the less I I will have to borrow if this house happens. If it doesn't, being busy and structured and having more savings can only be good

Today I am meeting a friend for a walk in a cemetery. Sounds odd, but it is a beautiful, wild oasis teeming with wildlife.

A snippet in today's Mail said that house prices have fallen by 5%, so hold firm!What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?3

Hi there DIA. Not been on here for ages.
Good luck with the house. If it's meant to be it will happen, if not, the best is yet to come. You have a great advantage as you are ready to proceed and there is no chain. Hold out for what you want, you never know it might happen.
Hope you enjoyed the cemetery walk. Me and Mr Boo Boo enjoy walking around the one where his Mum and Dad have a plaque. So interesting to look at names, ages and gravestones. There are war graves there too. Hope you get to see the wildlife. Apparently the rabbits don't like chrysanthemums.
Take care and have a good weekend. It's going to rain 😞4 -
Fingers crossed the offer is accepted🤞If not there’s always a next time.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4
