I am feeling a bit shell shocked to be honest.
I am making a decision to stay positive and to do everything I can to save. The more I save the less I borrow.
For the next few months I will be extremely frugal!
I spoke to my housemate. She understands. I will still cook meals for us but they will be frugal meals, dhals and grains and YS finds! She is happy with that
From now on I will be making daily payments, although they won't be as large as todays savings! I intend to make a game of creatively finding ways to save
Todays savings:
£150 to savings
£27 saved (monthly) by cancelling subscriptions
£75 saved by returning clothes ordered
TOTAL =£252If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
Emergency fund 800/1000
Buffer fund 0/100

Great results with your savings today as well"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3 -
You'll make massive savings just by not having to travel around looking at houses! :smiley .... and it's amazing what can be done when the mind is focused.
I imagine you're still in a state of shock... but it's lovely shock. I'm just so chuffed for you. XXXI Believe.....
