Fingers crossed for a positive outcome on the house.
You've made the right decision with the holiday.
Good luck with job hunting.
Hopefully the walk has left you feeling refreshed, some are very interesting and extremely photographic.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -

Good luck with it all. I am on the other side of the fence currently and that's scary too so can relate to your and the seller's side.
Yes, thank you, both sides are fraught with difficulties and stress. We will both get there in the end. You are doing so well getting your house readyMrs_Boo_Boo said:Hi there DIA. Not been on here for ages.
Good luck with the house. If it's meant to be it will happen, if not, the best is yet to come. You have a great advantage as you are ready to proceed and there is no chain. Hold out for what you want, you never know it might happen.Sun_Addict said:Fingers crossed the offer is accepted🤞If not there’s always a next time.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Thanks for the positivity @MovingForwards
The cemetery walk was lovely. Good to meet my friend. They are building a cafe in there and using the profits for the upkeep of the cemetery. I do understand but it was a rare overgrown bit of wild and now it will be manicured and commercialised
I went away for the weekend to DSs house as she was away, so the place to myself! I met my friend for a walk and a cup of tea, ok, and some cake...
I hadn't heard back about my offer so I called Friday evening. EA said he has been back and forth. Apparently the vendor offered on a house on Friday and if her offer is accepted, she will accept mine. I will know tomorrow.
Another house is on. I viewed this one twice but unlike the one I have offered on it is not in my perfect location. I always maintained it was overpriced. It came down and recently again. So a total reduction of 18%! I really love the one I offered one and would be happy to 'go for broke' to get it. Thanks to this site I know I can build savings the same way I tackled debt, but it is nerve wracking.
I am returning some clothes I ordered. I'd rather have the money. If I get this offer accepted I am cancelling all subscriptions. I need to be in saving mode not spending mode
One more sleep and I will know one way or another.
I hope everyone is wellIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thank you everyone and thank you to all the other posters who have sent their positive wishes for this house offer.
The good news is, it worked. My offer was accepted. I am beyond thrilled as it is fair to say, this was my dream house.
I have had so many disappointments and have got to this stage three times without getting to completion. I know it can happen again. Hoping it will go ahead this time.
