Thanks @jwil and @savingholmes
I've been invited for a second interview. We are down to 4 of us now. Fingers crossed
All viewings rearranged. Annoyed as my railcard has expired so travel to viewings will be more expensive...
I chased up one of my frogs but more on that frog. At least I ate a leg...
I've been job searching. The plan is to always have my eye on something to apply for. The whole, search, apply process is so time consuming, although I'm taking less time as sometimes there is an overlap.
I spent ages reorganising viewings but they are all lined up now. Three are outside of my budget by varying amounts, but I want to view as they seem to be cutting prices. When/if they do, I will put in an offer. If I do that now the drop will appear too great.
I signed up for an online chat on a subject I've been avoiding...
It must be the weather, but I have a craving for F&Cs. Alas too far to get there...Maybe just as well
Hope everyone is ok.

Thanks everyone
Squats and press-ups are not fun, but neither is not being able to lift shopping without hurting my back due to poor upper body strength! I am age proofing my body and muscle strength is so important...
I'm now up to 3 sets of 8 press-ups and 3 sets of 10 squats. On Monday I'm upping to 3 sets of 10 press-ups.
What is easy is no equipment of special clothes or worrying about the weather...
My other new health change is cutting out processed meat. Thinking about it, I use it to add flavour, so this week I'm prioritising getting some really good spices. There is an Ethiopian spice called berbere that I love so will start there.
I made a veggie curry for later...
I bought 2 bevelled edged 1950s mirrors complete with chains. They are beautiful! Together they were under £25. I love them. I bought one 10 years ago for much more than both of these. I had bought something last week for £45 that was an impulse buy. I have the receipt, so that is going back to afford the mirrors.
The frogs from last week still exist. I know...Will do them tomorrow...
I want to get to the stage where a few hours one day a week will be enough for my life admin. A froggy Friday is the aim for the future.
Despite my spending, saving first and living on the remainder does help with concentrating the mind on day to day spending.
Sunshine here I hope you have some too

Ooh I made an Ethiopian chicken stew with berbere before. It was lovely.
You have just reminded me of my own longing for f and c3 -
Great bargain on the mirrors! Well done on returning the other item to make way for them."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2

Thanks @WelshmansDaughter @jwil @savingholmes
I had a good day and after weeks of procrastination I ATE MY 2 BIGGEST FROGS. I did them as soon as I woke up and talked myself out of doing them. I was so pleased with myself I ate another smaller one. All this took most of the morning.
Then, I returned the item I liked to make way for the mirrors I love.
I ended up spending £4 on 2 books and £1 on a silk scarf so I didn't have a coffee out too.
I bought some food shopping for the house and a bottle of wine for my housemate.
I made brown rice noodles, salmon, shiitake mushrooms and courgettes with some tamari and garlic
I made chicken stock.
No new jobs or houses came up today.
I couldn't find berbere spice anywhere but bought some fruity, smoked chilli pepper seasoning for a different dish.
I walked for 30 minutes, 30 press-ups, 30 squats.
This week I am adding a once a week pilates session. I found one on the NHS website that is about 30 minutes.
Weird, but my arms already feel stronger, although it might be my imagination
I hope everyone had a good day
