Thanks @WelshmansDaughter, I'm enjoying the veg box more than I thought I would. Plus, it so pricey I am using every scrap. Today I cut up the cauliflower leaves to add to today's minestrone soup. Used kidney beans as cheaper and I like the colour. Swapped out pasta for some chickpea rice that swells to the size of orzo pasta. I made it yesterday and it came out beautifully. Making the same again today
It's ok @Sunshine_girl2 I will be away from home, but not far away. If anything it is easier and quicker to get to house viewings from where I will be. Same for any (fingers crossed) job interviews.
I am already at the start of my alone time as one of the weeks was due to housemate going away.
I'm up, but dreading the frogs. I suppose that is why they are frogs. Will make a list of houses and contact the EAs first...
My beauty box made me think I should share this with MSE folk because @Seasidegal58 had something similar that I signed up to for a while but cancelled. With this you pay £20 a month but you keep the money plus you get FREE beauty box goodies. I have loved mine. Delivery is free if you order beauty stuff out of your accumulate money. Plus you get points on a posh store. I like the store, one of my faves. I am using it as a way of saving for a self-care/emergency/sod it fund. I GET NO BENEFIT FROM SHARING THIS just occurred to me it may suit some of the peeps on here. Anyway that was longwinded, it is this...beauty box liberty
Off to do my press-ups. I could only manage 10 yesterday. Will do 12 today...
Coffee calls too
Wishing everyone the day they need.

If I ever get over my hatred of Christmas that subscription will be the sister's present 😀
Have not had much luck with veg boxes. Used to like the meat delivery boxes but the uncertainty was a bit much for me2 -

Thanks everyone
I received my CC statement today. I am still amazed I can pay off the balance immediately. A few years ago that would have been impossible. I am so thankful to have remained debt free
I ate too much yesterday, not poorly exactly, just too much. That is often a sign my BS is out of synch. I started today with protein and no carbs with a big serving of kimchi. That should keep me stable...
Exercise wise 2 sets of 30 squats and I am up to 12 press-ups. I will be adding 4 today and going for 16 today
I also need to go for a walk as I stayed in yesterday.
I spent yesterday trying to sort out EAs. The train strike scuppered my plans. I left a message with EAs and one called me back today. I registered with a new EA too.
@beanielou I have the 2 financial frogs still leaping about uneaten
@WelshmansDaughter I went for a 100% British box so hopefully the quality should be fairly consistent.
Off for a walk and this afternoon WILL eat at least 2 frogs!
Have a good day everyone

Free holiday sounds great and will provide some personal space for thinking and relaxing.
The rice sounds very interesting and is versatile.
Good luck with increasing the exercise, don't feel there's got to be such a large jump even an extra one every other day allows time to adjust.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
Thanks @MovingForwards
The frogs have been jumping and are still uneaten...I know! My plan is to shame myself into eating them.
However, I did have a busy day. I had to do my hair and give my eyebrows some attention due to another interview. Unfortunately for me they were 'overwhelmed with excellent candidates' so who knows. The second round will be next week...
Chasing EAs. They haven't been great, but the EA for the main properties I want to see came back to me and is going to try and contact the vendors for next week. I am being persistent, but noticed the EAs not in the area are worse than the local ones. I would be seriously hacked off if I was the vendor, but I guess they do not know. Hoping it will go in my favour if I keep chasing and other (less desperate) buyers give up constantly chasing.
I was pumped with adrenaline after the interview so this afternoon totally lazy.
I am now up to 20 press-ups. Tomorrow it will be 24. Then I will split it into 3 sets of 8.
30 squats.
A rare NSD

Well done on the press ups and squats! Very impressive.
Good luck with the interviews, if they have been overwhelmed with excellent candidates then it bodes well that you even got through to interview. You are obviously an excellent candidate and let's hope you were the best
Good luck with tackling the frogs too."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3 -
Best of luck with the interview outcome - and the rearranging of home viewings. These strikes are really impacting people. It's frustrating.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
