    Congratulations on the offer being accepted!  Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly.

    I feel your pain with the trades, we've had lots of difficulties too.  It's good that you've got some recommendations for plumbers and electricians though  - you might find that they can recommend a builder if you don't manage to find one otherwise.
