I'm presuming/hoping that they are going to bill before 1st April otherwise they are going to be dealing with two different tariffs and a changeover meter reading.1 -

I’m of course aware that the credit balance will be used first, but I simply want to be billed for usage since the opening reading back in December. Finding EDF over complicated to deal with..0 -
I changed to whole monthly DD on 21 Jan and asked for a bill which was produced to 20th at non-DD rates. Next day another bill for just the 21st appeared and it was at DD rates. My smart meter is showing the DD rates. Haven't had the difference for the opening period but I got £50 compo so I not complaining (well I will if I can find something else to complain about and get some more compo lol)0

My on-line account now says my second monthly bill is ready - but it won't be available to download for "up to 24h" (last month it was more like a week).

Hello people, been following this thread for a while now....I'm on DD budget and EDF chat agent said I can request a bill whenever I want in between the usual 6 monthly billing cycle, in case anyone doesn't already know this. I requested the bill and see that when I changed from the Welcome Standard cash rates to DD I see a period charged at cash rates, one day on the Welcome Standard DD rate and the next period is on the Standard Variable rate DD.What is the difference between Welcome Standard DD and Standard Variable DD rate? The rates are the same but I'm wondering if I have been duped into giving up some special clause that we had/ protected us when coming over from Zog? I just picked the only option that was available to me to get me onto DD rates.Still no credit here but am also planning to switch to whole amount DD as I don't trust any energy company with my money nowadays. Had confirmed today from EDF complaints dept that if I change to whole amount monthly, then when the Zog credit manifests, I can arrange to have that paid out to me.I complained as the chat agent was useless and had no clue what I was on about today, it actually seemed like a bot but was a real person probably using a script and a tranlation service. I don't enjoy EDF but stuck with them for now.0

Contact Chat today and asked for a statement - response wait till next bill date - July 4th
The only wat they would produce a statement would be if I changed to monthly billing.!
Pushed harder - OK but that will generate a DD review
Statement will be in My Account 2/3 days
EDF really are hard work

I think it must depend who you speak to. I was told that I could request a bill anytime after discovering the 6 monthly billing rediculousness and trying to get monthly billing on a budget account which they would not do. I recently on chat requested a bill to be made up and it was no problem at all and no mentio of DD review either. Yip, EDF are hard work, I think even symbio were better haha.

Update today on the 'Welcome to customers joining us from Zog Energy' page.They say that all Zog customers should have now received their Zog final bill up to 4 December 2021. I suspect that's long been the case, my final bill was available on 22 December. So nothing very useful, basically it's 'Keep Taking the Tablets' as far as the refund of credit is concerned.0
