Zog has gone 😢

I have had no bill yet from lovely EDF (not). I took the monthly direct option and awaiting to be billed.
I assume its a six monthly cycle however once and if (and its a big if) the credit appears from Zog to Edf I will get that changed.
Certainly learnt the hard way not to do budget direct debits like this.0 -
it does seem EDF are now playing around with things and avoiding to credit customers accounts.
I have it on good authority by Zog In Administration that EDF got all these details back in January.
Yes EDF have taken on other suppliers but surely by now this should have been sorted for ex-Zog customers?
I mean they would have just been sent an electronic file over to them and how long does that to load unless someone is going through them one by one

Shouldn't Ofgem or the Energy Ombudsman be notified of the delay in EDF not crediting Zog customers in a reasonable time?2

All you've achieved by stopping your DD is now being charged at a higher rate and hence when your credit finally comes through you'll have less benefit from it. EDF won't care that you're frustrated and you'll end up paying eventually.jobdone1 said:

I changed over to full monthly DD before the deadline. Was asked to enter meter readings yesterday on the 1ST which generated a bill very quickly and today it was ready for download. Charged at the correct tariff as expected... no issues at all.0

I was thinking specifically of all the misinformation/lies from customer services, chat agents ,even Complaints, about the actual end dates of "Welcome to BG" tariffs, the early "updating" of the tariff labels to post April 1st with no explanation, the total lack of billing, the lack of any signs of debits/credits being transferred over from suppliers various........need I go on ??DiseasedBunny said:
Eh? BG have done the solr transfer, and I’m in till nov 23, EDF on the other hand…brewerdave said:
So, since BG and EDF are currently proving less than useless with SOLR transfers and ,in the recent past, EON,OVO and Scottish Power have all been named and shamed for terrible Customer Service, looks like we will all be moving to Octopus !!!Patr100 said:
It occurs to me that while for the foreseeable there may be little point moving to save money perhaps some of us will be prompted to switch for better service and thatRobin9 said:Contact Chat today and asked for a statement - response wait till next bill date - July 4th
The only wat they would produce a statement would be if I changed to monthly billing.!
Pushed harder - OK but that will generate a DD review
Statement will be in My Account 2/3 days
EDF really are hard work
may become the main distinguishing aspect.1 -

Did you get billed correctly for the initial period where you were put on the pay cash rates rather than the DD rates? I have just contacted EDF to get a credit for the overcharge with apparent success (but only via a complaint as the chat agent was useless and had no clue what I was asking - first they mentioned my Zog credit, then asked what DD amount I wanted to pay, then said the difference in rates was due to the SVR being variable. I kid you not!!!! I think they must have droid chat agents or something, meant to be a real human but didn't seem like it). But I got a £15 compensation credit for the poor service.Gerry1 said:
Sssshhhhh !!!!Robin9 said:We still await the Dec 5th to 15th EDF invoiceFor me, I used my opening reading on the 15th Dec as my closing reading for the 4th Dec with Zog, so it's just the standing charge I will owe them. Although, judging how everything else has gone, this may cause a problem as they might decide I haven't used anything in the period from 5th to 15th Dec and this may be a red flag for them. They never made it clear which reading they wanted from which date as they treated it as a standard switch IMO.....but damn, I could have got some free gas.I have left my fixed DD for now but will assess at the end of March as I will have paid another DD and maybe, just maye have gotten the Zog credit. I don't want to continue paying fixed DD going into spring with less usage building up credit but as I am currently in debit I'll wait a bit more before changing to full amout monthly DD.0 -

Charged at the correct tariff as expected... no issues at all.I switched to whole bill DD back in December. I've entered meter readings when they ask, but no bills, and no direct debits taken so far, not even the default amount. As of last week, it does now say I'm in (one month's standard DD amount) "debit". The mandate is set up with my bank, so that's down to them to sort!As for people complaining about their Zog credit, I have only just received my ex-Neon Reef credit from BG, and they went bust some time before Zog. I think people need to be more patient. As far as I'm concerned, we are lucky to be receiving money back from a failed company, rather than just being a unsecured creditor and never receiving anything, as would be standard when a limited company goes bust. After all, all UK energy customers are paying for us to get our money back, so please remember this!1
