Has anyone received a final bill from ZoG that EDF will accept?
I got an email from ZoG which said it was the final bill but the attachment says statement. The meter reading on it is higher than the one EDF decided to start with.
So EDF are chasing me for payment for energy I have already paid Zog for, and I have credit with Zog.
Spoke to EDF on chat and they claim that it's not a final bill so I have to pay theirs 😡0 -
The only bill I've had from EDF covers Dec 15 -Jan 5; my Zog final was on Dec 4th. (a small credit) There was no overlap of readings and I await a bill from EDF for Dec 5 -14.
There are no future bills shown on My Account.
What bills have you had ?Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
The EDF bill says 15th of December until the 18th of January.
Zog is 31st march October until the 4th of December.
So there is a gap hut EDF don't seem to appreciate that the zog reading is higher. So even if zog sends another bill to plug the gap, the reading will only go up. Either way I have paid until they point so why are EDF charging for what I have paid for?
They don't seem to get it though and are demanding I pay the bill. I don't want to build credit with them though.
Did you Zog bill say final bill, or statement?0 -
The actual wording I believe is "final statement". I am certainly not expecting to hear any thing else from Zog's administrators. The Zog reading of Dec 4 was in line with the one I gave them at the end of Dec and the EDF ones in line with what i gave them
Give us the readings from your bills please. and include any letters A, C or ENever pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -

The Zog statement is £46 in credit.
Now I'm pretty sure I did give an actual read when I found out zog were going into administration but I can't see any proof of that so I might be wrong.0 -
I would expect that when |EDF produces its bill for Dec 5 -14 it will use the estimated 15568 and 15538 and you will end up with a credit of about £5 for those 30 units.

Surely it would make sense for them to revise their bill thar they're demanding payment on now, and then when the bill comes out that fills that gap then they can make a small adjustment.

I think an awful lot of people will be shutting down their central heating on April 1 this year. EDF along with the others will have a lot of unsold gas i feel.0
