The email today from EDF says:

    "Your Direct Debit

We recommend you increase your Direct Debit now rather than wait for your next review.

    Let's do it!"

When I click on their links, the is no mechanism for changing the direct debit amount prior to June.
You can change your direct debit amount via the app or your My Account. Just go into bills & payments and the option is there
  • Changed mine in the app (up by £20). If it need to put more in I will do once I get the money back from zog credited to my account first.  They suggest going from 46 to 84 a month! Think we will be doing without heating next winter 🙈

is my recollection correct that the tariff shown in the My Account page is the April+ tariff and not the current one?
i've been trying to work out what the first bill will be (if EDF ever get around to generating one), based on my last Zog reading and the latest EDF one, and 3 different gas bill calculators have given different results.

If it's about 4p, it's the current tariff.
If it's about 7.2p, it's the April tariff.

What internet browser are you using?

When I logged on using Opera there was no prompt to change my Direct Debit but when I logged on using Microsoft Edge there was.

Certainly no option for me or my daughter in either the app or web portal to change the DD amount.

I thought that I had missed something given that others can change their DD amounts. But there is certainly no option for me on the web or on the app.

Probably been answered but as they have yet to raise a bill or statement.  Why are they showing the Wrong (April) tariff instead of the current Cap ?

    EDF's wide-ranging borderline incompetence, I suspect.

I've not had a bill either. Never mind the zog credit, I don't even know if they are using the same opening reading as the closing reading on zog.
I switched to variable direct debit but that still didn't start any billing. They haven't even taken the initial amount agreed for fixed direct debits, just nothing at all. They better not charge me the cash rate, I've tried to give them direct debit payment.
