I'm patient about the credit, not expecting that for awhile as it took 5 months to get my electricity one.

But getting a correct opening reading based on a previous closed reading should be simple enough. I'm worried if I pay it that they'll never revise that reading to reflect the reading that it was closed on.

Even British Gas (who I was forced onto when my electricity supplier went bust) managed to get this bit right straight away.

EDF made a complete mess of my bill, too, using readings that were nothing like Zog's. It took some back and forth but I managed to get them to change the readings by sending them the photos that I took of my gas meter on the relevant dates.

It always pays to have some evidence of your readings.

I am really annoyed now with Edf and this shambles of a Solr process it clearly hasn't been thought through. Still awaiting for my credit from Zog to appear on Edf and Edf just keeps fobbing customers off. 4 months now since zog went bust  and edf is determined to drag this process along.

has anyone seen sight of there credits with zog on there accounts?

I have been on to ombudsman services totally waste of time they are saying any credits need to be pushed with the administrators. And the administrators will no doubt say contact edf. There simply is no back up or someone to go to when this happens.

Ombudsman services have said some suppliers from the summer have not seen there credits yet but ofgem just keeps saying all credits will be honoured.

So who do we go to get these credits for not appearing or could be wrong? Really now considering small claims court but have nasty feeling will tell me needs to go against zog.

The whole process is a total shambles and edf are getting away with it.

We could've told you that they would say that.

Thast's because credits will be honoured. It just takes time. There are people waiting today for their GNE credits, and GNE went bust in January 2021.

When you've been through a few SoLR processes you will realise this is the norm, but with added EDF. You'll get your credit, eventually.

Thanks at least that is reassuring me. I am just so anxious about this all and given the price surge on gas with EDF I want to make sure my account with this is correct and that also I am paying correct amounts.

I still haven't had a bill from EDF and they are taking monthly direct debits from me and I dont want to see a massive bill suddenly appear also wiping out the credit I had with Zog,

How I can compare or think about things come 1st April on how I will manage with the bill I dont know but you dont need this nonsense on top of it all.

Normally I'd say change supplier, then there are limits to EDF's inmcompetence, ie. the closing Zog reading and your final EDF reading. However, in the present volatile climate, you are vanishingly unlikely to get a cheaper deal than you have with EDF and fixes will be exorbitant.

I have not had a final bill/statement from Zog and now their login is dead.

Not had any bill or statement from EDF yet either.

    Is this the norm ?
