Not had any bill or statement from EDF yet either.
Is this the norm ?Not being billed by EDF isn't unusual; by default, if you're paying by DD, you'll be billed every six months. Some people have reported success in contacting EDF CS and asking for a bill; others (me included) changed to "pay in full each month" DD and get* bills monthly. (At least one regular poster still isn't getting bills despite changing payment method.)* Although my February bill was allegedly generated on the 27th but isn't visible on my account yet!N. I think most people on here have had their final from Zog (they call it a statement) on Dec 4. There have been several posters that have had EDF from Dec 15 to various dates in January. Still waiting for EDF from Dec 5 to Dec 14 and anything after the January billNever pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
I was worried that my final Zog statement had disappeared from the Zog website, but fortunately, I did receive an email with the final statement attached.I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".0

No idea why an estimate as they had readings.
Even better is it has £167.11 Credit.
Assume EDF when they finally get around to creating a bill/statement will use that reading. In which case I am in quite good shape.
On current tariff and todays reading I would have only used another Circa £120 worth of Gas and Standing charge.
Have paid EDF £189 (3x£63) already along with my £167 credit !!!!!0 -

No idea why an estimate as they had readings. In most cases it's likely to have been an estimate because few people sent a meter reading at the precise moment that Zog lost their supply licence.I found that Zog and their administrators were efficient and fast. I sent my normal monthly reading on 30 November, Zog announced were were ceasing to trade on 1 December (unlike others, they weren't a Ponzi scheme), EDF took over from them on 4 December, my final bill was generated on 22 December and I received it on 6 January. Not bad going, especially over the Christmas and New Year in a pandemic. The estimate was slightly high (4 imperial units, 128kWh); I assume this was intentional, to minimise the risk of customers being charged the much higher EDF rates during their final days with Zog.But as the MSE survey shows, EDF have been a nightmare. Three months on and I still haven't received my credit refund nor the promised refund for the overcharging at Cash / Cheque rates from 15 - 23 December, probably just like everyone else.0 -
Just had an email from EDF about the tariff increase on April 1. The interesting bit is regarding transferring to a new supplier (not that there are any or very few options at present) which reads:
Thinking of changing you supplier
The choice is always yours. If you want to change energy supplier and we hear from the new supplier by 4 May 2022 we’ll keep your current prices as they are until your account is transferred over. We may not be able to let the switch go through if you have outstanding debt. If your move to the new energy supplier is delayed beyond a reasonable amount of time the updated prices shown in this email will apply.
Could give some, minuscule I admit, chance of getting an extra month on the pre April tariff if by any chance any of the the other providers are accepting transfers to SVR (or have a good fix) towards end of April

The email today from EDF says:"Your Direct DebitWe recommend you increase your Direct Debit now rather than wait for your next review.Let's do it!"
When I click on their links, the is no mechanism for changing the direct debit amount prior to June.I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".0 -
I got one too.
Ironically, IF/when I get the credit back, that on top of my existing monthly payments would virtually cover the cost of the price rise. I may need to add £1 or so to it, assuming there estimates are correct in usage of course.
Last time i contacted EDF, they are still saying processing and hoping to get credit back by end of this month..

I've just discovered my email. In spam. You have to give EDF credit for this level of hopelessness. They've sent emails, successfully, before; how did they manage not to get this one past the spam-catcher?
