  • The app gives you your balances where online it doesn't.

I am just furious now how long this is taking and Edf surely can't be adding credits one by one. A spreadsheet off zog would simply have our end readings and balances. How long does it take to load?

Getting more suspicious they are pulling  this on long so that when a bill eventually does get generated swallows up any credit balances you had.

I wouldn't mind mine is nearly 500 quid to see me through the winter now paying the luxury again for it.

You can see your balance online (on the web portal) under My Bills and Payments as I indicated as well as on the Home page so I am not sure why you think it doesn't?

You can see it, if they've generated it, which they haven't, in my case.

I don't see account balance on any page, maybe due to not having received a bill from edf yet or my credit back.

Anyone care to call the cap for the next year or so???
Well UK Natural Gas Mar22 Futures have fallen quite a lot in last few days back to mid Sept prices if thats any indication of where things are going but anything could happen if Russia decide to invade or there's a prolonged cold snap in Europe.  Reckon the 20% uplift in Oct thats being bandied about is probably the one to work with at the moment but who knows?
My crystal ball reckons that (barring a natural or man-made disaster) energy prices have peaked and won't get significantly higher - but, at the same time, won't fall quickly or permanently for the rest of the year.
I reserve the right to be completely wrong about everything in the previous sentence.

How many other people have yet to receive a bill from EDF? I set up a whole bill direct debit at the end of December, and have given several meter readings, but EDF have not generated any bills, nor have they taken any direct debits. With whole bill direct debit, they still set a default monthly amount that they take if you don't give a meter reading, but they haven't even taken this. I have received my final bill from Zog. Is anyone else in the same position, or do I need to start chasing them?

In your position, I'd give them a prod. Webchat worked well for me.

I received a ‘final bill’ from EDF a week ago. It was purely my gas usage from 15/12 to 24/1 as I’m off to British Gas where I’ve had some success on a fixed rate.

The ‘final bill’ included neither the credit for moving to a direct debit (undertaken on 30/12 or so) nor my Zog credit. The ‘final final’ should be 15 quid or so but this final bill is 120.

I politely disputed it via SMS chat and the agent finally understood what I was not happy about (I wasn’t disputing my Zog bill!) though claimed EDF had not yet received the info from Zog; helpfully the SOLR update had been posted the day before regarding EDF working through the credits. The agent therefore put my bill on hold at that point.

I got the feeling that I might get a final bill that solely has the direct debit credit adjustment and then later on get a cheque for the Zog credit, we’ll see.

WHen my EDF account became live, I made the mistake of initiating a move to EON NExt before adding my banking details with EDF.  When I got around to updating my banking details (the next day) EDF would not accept them as they had already been informed by Eon that I was moving.  I tried all reasoning, but it failed.  I there had to pay the higher tariff until 5 Jan.  Received my bill for £27.37 for 15 Dec to 5 Jan, and am now awaiting to see what mess they make of my Zog credit, and whether they decide to bill from 5 Dec to 14 Dec.

Been through a few SOLRs but EDF have to be the worst.  Yes, we had a two week shutdown over Christmas, but we are not far off 3 months since Zog's death - EON Next (in this time period) had my account set up, paid my WHD and Symbio credit.  If my memory serves me correctly, Symbio had around 50,000 customers and Zog only 11,000 customers.  Logic should dictate that dealing with Zog should take less time than dealing with Symbio.
  • I cant believe this nonsense is still going ion? EDF are totally useless.

Has ANYONE had there credit balances transferred to EDF Energy?

Tonight been told to take up with Ombudsman as the agent on the phone couldn't answer my questions. He came out with the biggest nonsense that I could answer back on.

I am getting worried by the day that these vultures are not honouring the OFGEM agreement.
