How many of us still haven’t had a first bill?  I provided the opening reading on 14/12, set up the direct debit around 23/12 and my account is still showing no bill due - requested one via chat early Monday morning and was told it would be generated overnight. There was nothing there this morning so requested it again today. My account is now also showing the new higher cap unit rate, etc.
I had a bill but it was almost a week from it being generated before it appeared on my account (see here).
If you're paying by budget DD EDF will only bill you once every 6 months; pay monthly in full by DD and they bill monthly.

Except they don't...well at least so far in my experience. Hence why I requested another bill today.

Keeps reminding me why I moved away from the big suppliers….

Just logged into my account and see the increased chargers, went onto chat and they advise they put the prices there so I knew what they would be from 1st April.  I told him i was expecting it to say Current price: .... and then From 1stApril new prices ....
They are taking it as feedback and will pass on to the technical team.

He assures me I will be billed at existing prices until 1st April and then the new prices.

    Kev
It's only when you dig into their information pages do they say these rates apply from 1st April and they will be writing.

Is it too difficult to for the Tariff page to show  with effect from 1st April message ?

Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill

    decisions, decisions......

just looked at the fixed rates offered - the 2-yr one looks better value, same ST but 1.xp per kwh lower than the 1-year. If Oct's cap rises another 50% the 2-yr fix will be cheaper, but still almost 3x the cost of Zog :(

Considering we only use 1/3 of our gas for the middle 7 months of the year approx. mar-oct it may actually be worth fixing for 2 yrs.

Anyone care to call the cap for the next year or so???

Well UK Natural Gas Mar22 Futures have fallen quite a lot in last few days back to mid Sept prices if thats any indication of where things are going but anything could happen if Russia decide to invade or there's a prolonged cold snap in Europe.  Reckon the 20% uplift in Oct thats being bandied about is probably the one to work with at the moment but who knows?
  • Has anyone seen the credits to appear from ZOG to EDF? The whole process is taking forever.

Under My Bills and Payments tab I would have thought plus you'll probably see something in the Account Activity tab as well (as DD payments are shown there)
