    • Please contact Zog in Administration on 01473 597964 to pay any monies owed against your final Zog bill.
Eh? So if you owe them they expect you to chase it up for them
and pay for the call while you're at it?
Do SOTRs not follow up monies owned?

Or you can just pay it, online, with no cost. Just because they have ceased trading, it doesn't mean you don't owe the money for the energy you've consumed.

Not what I said ,was it?
The question is: are the administrators or the SOTR responsible for pursuing and collecting debts.

And the answer is, it depends what was agreed between the administrator or the SoLR.
There have been several failed suppliers where the SoLR is repaying credits owed but debits are followed up by the administrators.

The main failing on the Zog/EDF transfer was that it was not made clear, until late in the day, what the arrangement for debits with Zog was. We knew credits would be returned by EDF, eventually, but there was a period when debtors might have ended up paying twice, a risk multiplied by the fact that EDF are involved.

I've settled my debt with Zog but won't be in the least surprised if EDF use a different opening reading and then I have the hassle getting my overpayment back. Luckily it's only about a tenner.

01st November direct debit Taken, final bill early January produced 23 December £119.74 in credit and still no sign of payment. EDF now hounding me to pay £94 for gas used over the six weeks. I'm not surprised people are getting seriously angry it should not take this long to credit EDF. I'm having enough trouble paying my electric since neon reef went bust. Oh and no pay rise for the last three years.
  • Zog (and Green) can go whistle for the money owed, the useless agreement-breaking hounds.   Probably an unpopular opinion but I've put the money towards the extortionate new tariffs I've been forced onto.
    Yeah, good luck with that

The idiots at EDF have now revised my final bill (15th Dec to 11th Jan) to £971. They have the final reading correct but are still using an opening reading of 00000. Words fail me…

    Great news!

All customers should have now received their Zog final bill

I certainly haven't received mine, and the EDF website still says "Your first bill isn't due yet".
What does the Zog site show?
Thanks for the link, I was with Zog for two years and never knew you could view your account online until today.

My last Zog statement is dated 04/12/2021 and EDF have billed me from 15/12/2021.
