  • Yes, I stand corrected.  Even though the date was 4th Dec, the standing charges were from 31st Oct to 3 Dec.

when I set up my DD, EDF's EAC was bob-on, I suspect they may have had it from Zog....
    ......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple :D
  • I know this is going to sound crazy. But did a quote earlier with EDF, as currently paying £40 on DD budget for the variable tariff, but checked to see if i could go onto a fixed tariff, and it offered me £76 a month fixed till 2024! I know that seems steep but given the current uncertainty with rises in bills, im kind of thinking it might not be that bad, at least i know thats what ill be paying every month till 2024!

Strangely, EDF's EAC for me is about 10% lower than Zog's was. It's as if EDF are expecting my economy drive to succeed :D

Check the price per kWh and the standing charge, those are the things that are fixed, not the £76 payment.
Compare to what you are paying now per kWh and the standing charge, not the £40 DD.

Not easy finding the long term rates, all it lets you do is apply offer! Sounds onimous

    currently
Gas unit rate: 4.169p per kWh
Daily standing charge: 26.12p per day

listed elsewhere but seems to state 2024 long term tariff is
Gas unit rate: 9.043p per kWh
Daily standing charge: 27.22p per day
  • Great news!

All customers should have now received their Zog final bill

I certainly haven't received mine, and the EDF website still says "Your first bill isn't due yet".

What does the Zog site show?

    • Please contact Zog in Administration on 01473 597964 to pay any monies owed against your final Zog bill.
Eh? So if you owe them they expect you to chase it up for them
and pay for the call while you're at it?
Do SOTRs not follow up monies owned?
