Received my final bill today. Estimated reading 4 cubic metres in my favour. Every little counts, as they say.

I seem to be having the opposite to you posters. I have received 3 bills from Zog, for 3 different addresses. They have estimated a higher reading to what I gave EDF.Surely I can't be charged twice?0

jobdone1 said:Hi, I have finally received my final bill and as I knew am in credit of £119. I cannot see anywhere on the bill to say how this is to be paid back. I have left my direct debit active. Does anyone have any answers to how this gets returned either to me or EDF solr. Kind regards in advance

Got my bill too, it was a estimated reading, its not far short of the reading I gave them on 26th Dec lol so not sure if they will re-adjust it as was different to the 2 readings i gave them. I too am a fair bit in credit so looking forward to that moving to EDF and I believe after the 1st year they will refund credit over £40 I'm sure I read somewhere.

The latest message from EDF.They expect me to have une boule de cristal...The good news is that Zog have just sent me my final bill. I sent them a reading on 31 November, but their estimated reading for 4 December is slightly high (4 imperial units), which saves me £1.04 compared to the EDF rates that would have applied.Really sorry to see Zog go, they were far better than the numpties at EDF.0

One thing to watch for is the date used for the start with EDF as Zog have included s/c for the 4thI'm not sure that is actually true. The period covered by my final bill today is from the 31st October to the 4th December which is 35 days inclusive but I have been billed for 34. The previous month the billing period was the 30th September to the 31st October with a standing charge for 31 days. When I look back to when I left Eon to join Zog in 2015 (was it really that long ago) my standing charges for Eon were calculated to the 29th June and my first bill for Zog covered 1st to 31st July with a standing charge for 30 days. Seems like I had the 30th June for free that year. If I have misunderstood the bills then I am happy to be corrected, but I'm not going to get too worried over 26p.1 -
Zog bill received up to (estimated reading on) 4th December.
first EDF bill received from 15th December to 21st December.
I seem to be missing 10 days of billing…..0 -
@Craiginnes Everyone is. EDF couldn't invoice until ZOG had issued their final invoice.
You will be invoiced by EDF for this periodNever pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
Received my final zog bill which l was pretty accurate, 4/12/21 being the last read. Yet when I login to edf and go to choose your new payment method, the reading there from 15/12/21 is about 150 less than the final reading on 4/12/21. Should I be worried or will they take the final reading from zog as a starting point?0
