Got mine this morning as well. Actual meter reading on the 30/11 estimated on the 4/12. Not sure why estimated as previous were coming from our smart meter.
Probably shown as estimated as it probably came from EDF.
i.e not actual, not a customer reading, and not a smart meter reading taken by Zog.

Can't seem to find "meter reading history" on EDF site. Only shows last reading submitted. Is app any better ??

No, I can only see my most recent reading on the app.

Had mine, gave a read on 3rd and they have estimated for 4th which is pretty accurate.  For the first time though I disagree with the CV they have used, a couple of points higher than my calculated average that has always worked !  Bill is showing on Zog site, daughter not had hers yet and not showing on Zog site.  Just up to EDF to get the credit applied now.

To access smart meter data, a supplier has to hold a Supply Licence and be a Registered DCC user. Both these authorisations would most likely have been revoked once Zog went into administration. EDF could only access your meter once the supply transfer had taken place and only when it had applied a bespoke security certificate to your gas meter. The basic principle of smart metering is that the meter will only respond to requests that it is expecting to receive - the security certificate is the final key that unlocks smart meter data. Even the DCC cannot access your smart meter data.
  • Got my final bill this morning - Zog read was slightly higher than actual ( ~ 70kwh) . No sign of reading on EDF site but the Zog beta site has been updated with the bill !
One thing to watch for is the date used for the start with EDF as Zog have included s/c for the 4th
I'm not sure that is actually true. The period covered by my final bill today is from the 31st October to the 4th December which is 35 days inclusive but I have been billed for 34. The previous month the billing period was the 30th September to the 31st October with a standing charge for 31 days. When I look back to when I left Eon to join Zog in 2015 (was it really that long ago) my standing charges for Eon were calculated to the 29th June and my first bill for Zog covered  1st to 31st July with a standing charge for 30 days. Seems like I had the 30th June for free that year. If I have misunderstood the bills then I am happy to be corrected, but I'm not going to get too worried over 26p.

The bill from Zog shows correctly all the readings I supplied on the 31st Oct, 30th Nov, 3rd and 4th Dec and the most recent one was used to generate the final bill.

No bill or letter yet from EDF although the meter serial number for my new smart meter fitted by EDF on Tuesday is on the system and correct.
  • Also received my Zog final account today, 6/1/2022, using an estimated reading up until 4/12/2021, even though I gave them an actual reading on that date (only 1 unit diff). However, I did note that the date on the actual statement was 22/12/2021 - which was probably the date of production...2 weeks ago.

Final bill from Zog, used actual meter reading given on 1/12, estimated to 4/12. I guessed would be about £200 in credit and final bill is £185. EDF switch completed, budget DD set up, their DD amount is about right for our usage at current kWh rates. So now wait for credit to appear. Then also wait for final bill from Neon Reef.

Hi, I have finally received my final bill and as I knew am in credit of £119. I cannot see anywhere on the bill to say how this is to be paid back. I have left my direct debit active. Does anyone have any answers to how this gets returned either to me or EDF solr. Kind regards in advance

You mentioned neon reef. I had my final bill in December before Christmas. A final direct debit was taken from my account two days ago. Try logging into your neon account it might have been updated ?
