I am a vulnerable customer that has always paid my energy in advance and was a large a balance in credit with Zog. I think it is scandalous if they should expect people to pay a new supplier until they mop everything up with old one? What if I cant afford my EDF bill and Zog is sat on my huge credit?


I have just logged in the beta version on Zog and can see no final bills have been issued. Last one was 31 October 2021. I have screen dumped my account and downloaded my statements. If I am a vulnerable customer surely EDF Energy or the regulator should be offering assistance. If so, who do I contact. I am pensioner and can ill afford paying higher prices until they sort this mess out

I just logged on to my EDF account to find that the switch is complete and have been able to initiate DD payments.

Web site, it also tells me that I should expect my first bill on 24 Dec, although the DD won’t be functional until the new year.

Can't put in DD details yet (switch still kn progress) but interestingly telling me my first bill is 18 Jan. I can understand them spreading the bills out a bit but thats quite a difference in dates

Different areas have different billing dates otherwise everyone in the country would get their bills at the same time.

EDF have already said to ignore this if you've already submitted a reading.

At last, my EDF account is showing that everything has now been switched.

Are we having to contact EDF to setup DD as I can see no link on my account to set one up?
