  • As requested, submitted a meter read yesterday - logged on just now and its asking for a meter reading!! Entered 13th's reading AGAIN - HOPEFULLY it'll stick this time!
    We had a similar problem, entered the reading 3 times ( on 3 different days), but each time I logged on, it asked for an opening reading.
    So used the Chat facility to get confirmation that they had received a reading & didn't need any more.
    They confirmed they had received 3 readings and to just ignore any request to enter an opening read again.
    Also confirmed that we could not set up a DD yet, would probably be another 5-10 days before that could be done.

  • If it said "thank you for your meter reading" when you input it, why you would continue to enter more meter readings is beyond me and it makes for very tedious reading on these forum pages.

    EDF account today is now showing online billing with a tick but not saying switch complete, waiting for this so can setup DD info.

    Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill

    Just gone into the app again and it’s forgotten I’d set up FaceID yesterday, so did it again.  We’ll see if it remembers me tomorrow. I think I can guess the result. 
    Not tried the browser this morning yet.
