Compared with how Edf took on GNE this progress is amazing. The GNE saga took months to get this far (and I won't get a complete picture till I get a statement in February)Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill2

I noticed the same; entering a second reading resulted in an error message.Umiamz said:Last night, after submitting the requested reading, the website said that I had submitted a reading and also showed what it was. This morning, after receiving an email from EDF asking for an opening reading, I had a look at my website account and it is also asking for a reading again. I submitted the same reading again, which it accepted.0 -
I entered a meter reading in the freeform field earlier this morning (on web portal) which it took and showed but has since disappeared so I enter same reading in the Submit Meter reading defined boxes and it was happy enough to have the same reading. So hopefully its recorded somewhere but I guess we'll only see a meter reading when the "Mysterious Third Party" validation process has taken place0

Even tho my supplier turned from ZOG to EDF today, I still haven't received a set up account email , never mind a meter read request !0

Contacted EDF on Twitter and it confirmed receipt of the meter reading I submitted, and the correct figure. The agent seemed to think that Zog would bill up to 14/12, and EDF from 15/12. Remains to be seen.0

However, experience tends to suggest that most energy suppliers customer service agents know less about whats going on than those of us on this forum......so wouldn't hold my breath on that one (nice that it would be)Deleted_User said:Contacted EDF on Twitter and it confirmed receipt of the meter reading I submitted, and the correct figure. Plus how can Zog bill up to then seeing as they ceased to hold a supply licence at midnight on 3rd. Fingers crossed we get the 4th to 14th free3 -
