Yep, I can confirm that
1) EDF is now showing as my gas supplier on FindMySupplier. Yesterday it was still Zog.
2) The app is definitely behind the online interface in terms of progress.
@Robin9 There were 2 options in the early hours of today
Freeform on the 'Contract Tracker' page.
Submit a reading, in the LHS menu, which is the X rated version.
I submitted the Freeform version, and when I checked the menu version it showed that reading, and said another wasn't required.
Just now, I submitted the freeform version again, just in case. On checking the menu option, it now said they've got a reading and don't need another. So hopefully that has been taken.
Meanwhile I had a couple on messages in the menu message option. One of them was the same as an email I received from EDF today.0 -
Tried to submit today's reading as per instruction but won't accept -first technical difficulties, now says its higher or lower than expected - used the one I put in yesterday am - that is OK !! They really don't make it easy !! Question now is , are they going to "back calculate" to reading on the 2nd ?
As per others ,EDF now shown as gas supplier on national database.0 -
Interesting, because even though I've submitted via the freeform version it's still asking for a reading on the menu version with the boxes. If I try and submit the same reading again there, it says that it's higher or lower than they were expecting and won't let me submit it, so there's no way of knowing whether they have the reading or not.Deleted_User said:Yep, I can confirm that

I had that email too but my smart gas meter disconnedted itself from the DCC in September and so they'd be waiting a long time! Instead I logged into my account on their website and gave a meter reading via chat. No idea if it will actually be used but it makes me feel better plus I've got the transcript saved in case of problemsKeep_pedalling said:I have had that email this morning but they say that they will take the reading from our smart meter and I don’t have to do anything. It also says that they will be supplying gas by the 15th rather than on the 15th so it will be interesting to see what date they take the reading.

Another one getting the email this morning, it took my entry OK, but I’d had a bit of a faff over password, so reset it, went back online and it’s asking for meter reading again. Entered the same one again but now it says we’ve already got that one! This doesn’t bode at all well for the future. Zog just worked.0
