I've got the email to register the online account.
However the Tariff page doesn't show any detail .
Also be aware you are defaulted to receive marketing unless you opt out (very bad!)
so change the Contact preferences in About Me so you are Ok with them.1 -
So should I cancel my zog dd now? Or wait until edf have me on the system? (I’m 150 in credit so no issue there, just don’t want to get stung for the failed dd charge)0

Don't worry any payments you've made will be protected. Please see below when and how you can set up your Direct Debit with us:'https://www.edfenergy.com/welcoming-zog-energy-customers2

I just noticed the above is the variable tariff despite selecting Fixed!, whatever i try to select on their website it comes up with the above tariff ! hmmmm

My Edf account has moved onto "Meter Reading" but how do I do that ?
There is a meter reading tab but this just tells you how to read the various meters but there is no place to enter a reading.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -

There is a meter reading tab but this just tells you how to read the various meters but there is no place to enter a reading.
Step 1 – understanding your usage
We'll use your meter read history from your previous supplier to agree your first meter reading and use it to open your EDF account. If we need a reading, we'll let you know.
so I suspect they will use your previous meter readings with ZOG to calculate the opening reading with EDF.0 -
If anyone wants to complete a Direct Debit form and post it in (its Freepost) here is a link. Not sure if it'll be quicker than waiting for the online setup to appear though1

It would be good if Edf gave an opening statement rather than have to wait 6 months.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0
