I've got the email to register the online account.
However the Tariff page doesn't show any detail .
Also be aware you are defaulted to receive marketing unless you opt out (very bad!)
so change the Contact preferences in About Me so you are Ok with them.1 -
So should I cancel my zog dd now? Or wait until edf have me on the system? (I’m 150 in credit so no issue there, just don’t want to get stung for the failed dd charge)0

DiseasedBunny said:So should I cancel my zog dd now?Yes, on 7 December EDF advised that existing Zog DDs should be cancelled.'Direct Debit customers: If you previously paid by Direct Debit, please cancel the Direct Debit payments you may have with Zog Energy. Don't worry any payments you've made will be protected. Please see below when and how you can set up your Direct Debit with us:'https://www.edfenergy.com/welcoming-zog-energy-customers2

I have also received the email and a letter from EDF and the notification that I am being placed on the Welcome Standard Variable Price Tariff. My rates are different from you:MaDMaX** said:

I just noticed the above is the variable tariff despite selecting Fixed!, whatever i try to select on their website it comes up with the above tariff ! hmmmm
Mine is quoted to be:
Unit Rate 4.397 kWh
Standing Charge 30.78p per day
Any idea why there are different prices for the same tariff?0 -
The prices on the letter are based on cash or cheque payments, switching to DD will bring the standing charge in line with the charges posted by MaDMax. The unit rate will also come down in line with that, but there are small variations in different regions so you price could be slightly lower or higher than that.jazzy said:

My Edf account has moved onto "Meter Reading" but how do I do that ?
There is a meter reading tab but this just tells you how to read the various meters but there is no place to enter a reading.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
The app also has a “submit reading” option but says that they’re not ready for a reading yet and to wait for a request. You can set the app to notify you when a reading is due.Robin9 said:My Edf account has moved onto "Meter Reading" but how do I do that ?

The Welcome Letter states:Robin9 said:My Edf account has moved onto "Meter Reading" but how do I do that ?
There is a meter reading tab but this just tells you how to read the various meters but there is no place to enter a reading.
Step 1 – understanding your usage
We'll use your meter read history from your previous supplier to agree your first meter reading and use it to open your EDF account. If we need a reading, we'll let you know.
so I suspect they will use your previous meter readings with ZOG to calculate the opening reading with EDF.0 -
If anyone wants to complete a Direct Debit form and post it in (its Freepost) here is a link. Not sure if it'll be quicker than waiting for the online setup to appear though1

I'm happy if they do OK - ZOG had readings on Nov 30 and Dec 3. I've got Zog records going back in time.The_Green_Hornet said:

It would be good if Edf gave an opening statement rather than have to wait 6 months.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0
