EDF were hopeless at porting us across from Green Network Energy when they went bust in Jan 2021. Took until August to finalise and many issues along the way.

Given that EDF has explicitly stated that they can't port our direct debits, I think it's safe to cancel them now.

Just got in. EDF?? Aren’t they French? I sincerely hope that clown and knucklehead* Macron isn’t on the Board. We never see his wife any more…

Definitely not my supplier of choice. 

*Just to clarify - apparently that is what Macron referred to Boris as, this past week. I may possibly agree, but he is still our Prime Minister, after all. Well offside.

Presumably, since they have stated that they will start us on the Cash/Cheque payment method, we'll have to pay the slightly higher price until we set up a direct debit with them.

They had no problem with GNE.  What's the difference ?

Did GNE manage the DD themselves or did it go through a third party collector like Zog used ?
