    despite Shell's email team categorically saying that customers are not being prioritised in any way & contacting them on twitter or any other social media platform will absolutely not result in getting a refund cheque any quicker whatsoever - their twitter team processed my refund request immediately yesterday! 10 working days for receipt.

    Anyone else still not heard anything from Shell, not even initial welcome email? When checking the National register / database it correctly shows my supplier as Shell and has done since not long after the transfer from Green a few months ago. Any chance I might have fallen through the cracks and end up never hearing from them?! (Wishful thinking obviously but would have expected to hear at least something by now.)

    No comms initiated by them. Only when I have contacted them first, and then I only get generic information.  I phoned them today and commented what happened on the other thread about refunds.

    Note their FAQ said as far back as Dec 16th...

    • Done: getting up-to-date meter reads, activating smart meters, adding your final bill credit balance to your account, advising you of your tariff rates, welcome to Shell Energy, Ofgem SoLR appointment
    The bold bits suggesting they have the full customer list from Green, contacted all customers already, created accounts and transferred the closing balance with Green.
    I transferred away, so wasn't sure if this applied to me as I'm not really a customer. If you're supposed to be supplied by them and none of this has happened they probably don't know you exist.

    Yep if I remember correctly I think I mentioned their FAQ update when I spoke to them and they said actually not all accounts have come across yet. Who knows. Surely they must ‘recognise’ me as a customer sooner or later given the database confirms I am with Shell. Otherwise I might regret transferring away from them and losing a ‘free’ gas supply!

    I was also told just before Christmas that not all accounts had been transferred over as yet.  I've received generic emails, but no account info as yet.

    Asking for a first  monthly meter reading today . DD etc has been setup for a month or more .

    Same here - not had a single email from Shell whereas my brother's account with Pure Planet has already been migrated to Shell and is up and running.
