I must be one of the lucky ones. My account seems to be up and running. Direct debit set up, credit from green showing on it. I logged on this morning and got the ‘account nearly ready ‘ message but then tried again and it was ok.
says my first bill was October 19th, random date, but I can’t download it so I don’t know what it’s all about. There are gaps on the account page but maybe that’s how their on line account works, we’ll see.0 -

Yes I noticed that on mine. My account has been set up for about a week and then yesterday I got the message saying my account was nearly set up. As far as I was concerned, it was already set up but I guess maybe everyone has had that message come up on the account page?

i noticed that the opening 'bill' is just a 61 line text file that looks like an html document if you view it in notepad

Lol I wish. I keep getting nagged for an electricity reading and reminded that the direct debit I set up is too low as my usage is high. No it's not. You have the incorrect electricity meter on your account and are awaiting the update to national database. In the meantime accept the actual Readings I've sent you and bill me correctly . To be fair the problem was caused by green. Shell simply inherited it

Apparently my first bill won't be until January now as the "no billing" flag was still on my account.
A bit annoying - I wanted a bill before my smart meter installation in early January just to avoid any risk of things going wrong with that process in my first bill...0 -
