I've had an email today asking for my meter reading, submitted online and I've now found the details of my tariff, Flexible 6 E7.
This is for the South West:
Day 27.04
Night 10.70
S/C 25.750 -
@GreenCustomer I'll let you know if I receive mine by this Friday, 10/12, as similarly promised.1

I've still not heard anything since my final bill from Green. I still have an active direct debit to Green and now they've given me a final bill and acknowledged my credit balance am thinking I should cancel the DD as unsure what would happen with that payment?
I'm just going by the don't do anything advice given in these circumstances as I don't believe I've actually been told to cancel the DD at any point although the Shell green customers page did mention it I think?0 -
just just had an email from Shell telling me my smart meter has been set up with my account.
I don’t have an account and can’t find anywhere I can set one up.
my readings are taken from my smart meter apparently, I can’t verify this - no account.
The tariffs on the smart meter are 10p a unit more for my night rate than Shell advised me in their e mail a few weeks ago. I have storage heaters so all my heating is on night rate, I’m really worried now!0 -
Thank you FeralHog, I found the login link and clicked the no password and entered my e mail address but received no reply. I have checked my spam but nothing there either. Perhaps I’ll have to wait a bit longer.0

Yep, same here. I've been trying that for the last couple of months and the one off link as well. Assume they don't have my email address in the system yet. I have had contact from them on it so assume it just hasn't got an account yet.Granniesue69 said:Thank you FeralHog, I found the login link and clicked the no password and entered my e mail address but received no reply. I got the same email yesterday. I already had a login to Shell as I was previously a customer. A new account number appeared a few weeks ago and my final meter readings from Green show if I try to enter manual readings. However no new smart meter readings are appearing and I still get a welcome message saying 'Your account is nearly ready'. So basically it still doesn't quite seem to have been activated.Granniesue69 said:just just had an email from Shell telling me my smart meter has been set up with my account.

Just e mailed Shell after jumping through all the hoops to get to a contact form. I requested help with setting up account. Almost immediately got a call from Jade, who set up my account. The tariff on the smart meter was reading the wrong amount, all sorted now, relief! Lovely man, very helpful. Now I’m all done, direct debit set up, my amount, my date, all sorted.
Happy bunny ( or I would be if it was cheaper, but you can’t have it all) 🌝2 -
My credit has now been applied to my shell account. One slight problem the amount credited was the lower amount before greens administrators issued a revised final bill after my query. But we are getting there slowly but surely0

It is so frustrating when the quality of customer service received varies so widely and randomly, depending on which channel of 'contact' you use, and who you 'speak' to. Surely that should not be the case. I am 78 myself, but age seems to count for nothing.0
