    Yes. It's the way I always did, it should send me an email link to access my a/c but of now it doesn't....

    Yes. It's the way I always did, it should send me an email link to access my a/c but of now it doesn't....
    when I login I do not get that verification email anymore as the system seems to recognise my laptop from previous logins

    I always use the same laptop & browser (I use "opera") so I guess there must be some "cookie" or similar stored on my laptop

    At a guess its sounds like you have set your browser to delete all cookies when it shuts down so you need to re-verify for every login ?
  • Perhaps, but whatever the cause, I can't re-verify now,  so I will just have to wait for my first Shell bill to see what Green's closing bill was. Sigh.

    So today I received my final green bill. As expected it's totally wrong. I had smart meters installed 3 weeks before green went bust. Final bill is based on old meter readings. To compound the problem the gas meter went from old imperial to new metric. My new electric smart meter was displaying in greens app and website. This is getting very complicated .

    I received an email advising of my final bill today as well. I submitted electricity and gas readings together and they used the gas but did estimate for the electricity. I guess as it's the more expensive of the two so billing me less with Green than Shell with a lower final estimate. I must be honest though the readings are probably quite on the mark and not worth quibbling over a small number of units in my case for pennies.

    Yet to find out my new DD with Shell.

    Good thing is they have totally acknowledged my credit balance including my last two direct debit payments to Green on the 11th of October and 11th November so hopefully that will carry over with no issues.
  • I got an email today too about my final bill from Green. Both readings matched what I submitted to them on 27 Sep. So far so good. I am able to use the app still to view my bill but couldn't see any way to download it, so have taken screenshots.

    @Tafrock I used to be a Shell customer and although they fitted my Smart meters (at least they did when it was First Utility) they couldn't get them to work and their graphs only worked on monthly manual readings. Shambles of Smart meters is a total waste of money as they seem to be very unreliable. 
  • Rather jealous. My time will come. I'm also a great believer in karma. One day, Shell will be wanting something from me...
  • I am also still waiting for a final bill from green.
    Good to know that others have received them.
  • Just received first email from green since September containing my final bill. £157 in credit after paying what they say I owe them. I’m assuming they are right, lost the will to check all the figures now, just wait til I hear something from Shell now.
