Green Supplier Ltd switch to Shell Energy

My Green account detail remains unchanged, both on the web interface and the app. I have heard Sweet Francesca Adams from Green or Shell, apart from numerous 'holding' replies to my own enquiries, from the latter.0

Still nothing for me, just a few e-mails from both of them soon after Green went bust.Still paying my DD to Green, keeping records and screenshots of my balance with them.I've not said anything to Shell to imply I'm going to leave them, I haven't made any contact with them at all.Still happy to put off paying £30 a month or so more as much as I can, rather have the extra money in my bank account than theirs, especially in the run up to Christmas!I'm wondering if they're contacting those with either higher usage or may have been in debt with Green possibly and I'm a minor financial liability for them and more of a complication as I had a fair amount of credit they'd need to give me from my Green account so initially they'd be giving me money back and I'm unlikely to boost their bank balance a great deal with my usage.0

Had an e-mail today from Green saying my final energy statement is ready and that I owe over £200!
My account was £85 in credit when they went bust and the next bill issued on the 26th Sept was £30 so I have no idea where they've pulled £200 from.
Anyone else received an e-mail demanding payment for a wildly incorrect amount?

Have you checked that this is a genuine email? If it is, did you submit meter readings when requested? If not, they may be working on a worst case scenario.0

@martyp Last paragraph. Shell staff maintained that is definitely not the case, when I asked them about my similar case.0

My Shell account is open with correct meter readings. Green cancelled my DD and informed me as such. Everything is going, as expected, in a well-managed SoLR transfer.

I'm going to wait and see what happens when my Shell account is set up but it was a bit alarming especially considering the part of the e-mail regarding unpaid bills and collection agents re: @Bryan75 post and no contact information on the e-mail.0 -
I havered about cancelling my DD but was pleasantly surprised when Green cancelled it, after my initial payment, although I realise my case is fairly simple, in that they didn't have a chance to supply me with any leccy before they went bust. I'm one payment in credit, which I expect to be credited to my Shell account.

Bye bye green - just paid my final bill to them, a whole £1.870

Just paid my final bill to Green (received today). The closing reading was too low, but I'm past caring at this point. Not heard anything from Shell.0
