Green Supplier Ltd switch to Shell Energy

Green have advised me that they are aiming to have final bills completed by the end of this month.
Shell have advised
"Even though you have your own supplier Shell will still set you up with an account to ensure that we are crediting the correct customer accordingly and issue a final bill should there be one."
(Note: my switch away to Sainsbury completed 2nd October..so 5 days with Shell)

It's very odd that they have altered every monthly bill produced since September 2020 with this wording . I only reopened the final PDF from the site as some people had said they had had bills appear with cancelled on them. Wasn't expecting a raft of bill pdfs to have been altered1

@GreenCustomer It's the inconsistency of treatment that gets to me. Some people have a shedload of information, some people have no information, and some people are in between. That is both with Green, but especially with Shell. I've not heard from Green at all, and I've had nothing from Shell apart from being given a false deadline of 16th November.
I refuse to let this go, and just drift. Unfortunately, I am just not one of those individuals that can smoke a spliff, and say 'Que sera, sera'. If that works for you, fine, but it's not me.1 -
I emailed GREEN yesterday afternoon about my final bill and they replied. Same with Shell.
As I have said before I only have a small credit left with Green of around £50. I certainly empathise with other customers in different situations and the frustration this can cause.

I've just been chatting to Shell via Twitter to discuss the incorrect opening readings on my account. Apparently these cant be disputed with Green until the first invoice have been raised which they expect to be the end of December early January1

Well as both my meters are smart and the electricity was actively transmitting it's readings to green at the time of their demise I expect shell to honour the correct readings . The estimates on my green account (which shoudnt be there ) are much higher than the true readings. Ludicrous really . Ive Passed the true Readings To Shell0

My smart meter is still showing greens’tariffs so I’m taking readings, not just relying on the smart meter. I wonder if Santa will bring me an account with all the right readings for Christmas “0

‘We can check to see whether your information has been moved over but this would not allow you to activate the online account yet or check credit. We can locate the information and provide you with an account number but this is all for the moment, if you’d like us to do this then we would need you to confirm your full address and postcode.’
Then when I sent those details (for the fourth time) someone else decided that they couldn’t do that.
‘The date for all customers account set up is now 30/11/21 and the date for online account creations is 07/12/21.’

We have currently onboarded a percentage of Green Energy customers and have been able to provide account numbers to this certain category of customers, we're still going through the onboarding process for your particular account and will communicate to you when your account is set up & provide you with your Shell Energy account number.'

@Granniesue69 I pmd shell via Facebook and got my account activated so I have an account number. However it's not fully active. I can see my meters but not the readings. I can set up a direct debit but I'm not doing that until the credit is refunded. My problem was green hadn't fully commissioned my gas smart meter so shell were trying to use an old removed imperial meter and the estimated reading was ludicrously higher than it should have been. I sent pics of new meter and readings and installation label and shell replaced the meter on my account. As both are smart I can't physically send shell readings . But i sent readings via Facebook messenger. I was told they would be used . As a safeguard just like you I have been keeping my own records and taking pics etc. If you want your account activated (well sort of) try messaging shell on Facebook0
