Green Supplier Ltd switch to Shell Energy

No communication from Shell since email of 7 October.
Just checked my bank account and Green have taken another payment today - I was already in credit for more than £350!
Shell told me to not cancel my direct debit but I have now done so and will contact my bank to see if I can get my payment refunded from Green.0 -
I’ve just had an e mail from shell, still no tariff prices, but assuring me they will honour any credit I have with Green, however they added this process isn’t quick and “ could take a few months”!
I’ve given up now, just wait and see what happens, also cancelled DD with Green.0 -
So, apparently Green is not co-operating with Shell.
1) What is the Administrator doing about that, or Ofgem?
2) It's all very well for Shell to say 'Forget Green, we'll sort you a DD out.', if you are continuing with Shell. However, what about those of us who aren't, either because we had already left Green before it failed, or who have switched away since? Back of the queue, as someone once said. Not impressed.2 -
Received an email from Shell earlier today saying watch out for your new account information. Have now received an email inviting me to login to my account, which I've done (set password). It says they are still transferring details, so not much to see - but at least some progress. I cancelled my DD when I left Green, in case that makes any difference to the order they are contacting customers.1

I have contacted Shell, who maintain that they are treating all customers equally and fairly, irrespective of whether they are leavers or stayers.
However, in contrast to other posters, who seem much further on, they stated that they are still awaiting my details, but are aiming to have an account in place by 16th November. Therefore, it seems that they intend to set up Shell accounts even for customers who had left Green before they defaulted, and were not strictly Shell SoLR handovers. Which implies that the Green final account will come from them, and not Green.1 -
Perhaps. Perhaps not.Are the Administrators supposed to be neutral/independent, or are they effectively in the Green camp? Surely it is not professional to allow Green not to cooperate with Shell, which seems like it may be the case.1

Times like this I’m pleased I owe them (a whole 83p), lol0

I have finally gained access to my new Shell Energy online account. The opening reading on the 27th September is 200 units out (to my disadvantage). I did submit readings to Green Energy over the changeover period I also took photos of the meter on the changeover date.
Anyone else noticed an incorrect opening meter reading? can this reading be disputed with Shell Energy?0 -

We're waiting to receive your previous meter reads from the administrator. But so you can receive a monthly bill without delay, we've estimated your opening read based on your previous energy use. Once we get the information we need, we'll send you an amended bill to your correct reading. If you find the readings still aren't correct, please send us a picture of your meter reading and we can update it for you.

@GreenCustomer Which section of the web page is the 'wrong reading?' extract from, as I can't readily locate it to save. FAQS?
On closer inspection, I see you have mentioned FAQS. Doh! I still can't find it though.0
