There is no money showing on dashboard.Same position here. Not worried. Got the final Avro bill from the Avro "assets" website, which shows the credit balance. It will come through in its own time, along with the DDs paid to Avro since.Have cancelled the Avro DD and set a new one up with Octopus, due to start in December.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards. I had my first expected direct debit collection date for October come and go with no collection. When I emailed to ask why it had not been collected I was told it takes 10 working days for a new direct debit to be created and become live for collections. They said I had missed the expected collection date because it fell within this 10 working day window.I made a one off payment via my Octopus Dashboard to cover the missed collection. Octopus did not backtrack and never collected the collection they missed and I have had the November Direct Debit collected on the date it should have been since. When Octopus are going to collect your Direct Debit payment you will receive a "Your Direct Debit payment is due soon" email 7 days before the collection date

Has anyone had an email from Octopus saying...
``Thank you for submitting your meter readings. We'll run them through some of our validation tests and email you an up-to-date statement in the next 48 hours``
Just wondered as I have not submitted them any meter readings!Had an email from Octopus confirming they had now produced my statement for the 31st October. A further email arrived 10 minutes later with the statement attached.Everything looks OK except the Estimated Annual Usage figure for Electric looks to be out by quite a margin (around half what it normally is). I expected a change on the Estimated Annual Usage for Gas because Avro never automatically updated it each month as they should have done. For anybody receiving an Octopus statement it's worth checking that the Estimated Annual Usage figure for Electricy they've used is in line with what Avro used on their final bill.
I got my credit from Avro yesterday the final Avro bill was only £4.23. for 7 days usage, the gas was only the standing charge as the numbers in black hadn't increased.
One thing is that Octopus have charged me nearly £20 for gas and my credit is down from £243 to £223. I have given them readings so this might be for the 60+ days usage of gas I expect a larger amount to be deducted in the next few days for electric. My billing date with Avro was the 19th and I will be doing a reading on 19/12/21 even though my electric meter is doing 30 minute readings for electric.Someone please tell me what money is0 -

Quick question - if DD goes out 7th, what is optimum date to send meter readings to get the best match between usage & payments?
Or does Octopus update the account balance on receipt of reading and again when DD credited? (Hope that makes sense)Someone please tell me what money is0 -

(Hope that makes sense)I had a reminder this month for my readings on 22nd but as had not had my final bill I took my readings but did not send them then a few days later final Avro bill and Oct account updated with my final readings. I then check they had starting readings and entered mine there was the facility to put the date of my readings. My bill was generated practically straight away.1 -

Thanks for all the replies.
I'll send readings on 7th as I'd planned, and hope the updated bill reflects both the readings and the DD.0 -
Confused over Direct Debits. We were advised to keep the Avro one in place and that it would be converted to Octopus in due couse. My Octopus account is saying I have no current DD arrangement but is still taking the old Avro amount each month. Should I be cancelling the Avro DD after all?0

I just gave Octopus an electric and gas reading and I've only used £93 in 60 days. £1.55 per day between gas and electric and the readings were accurate as my gas reading was yesterday and the electric reading today.
I intend to take meter readings on the date my Avro Bills were generated the 19th.
If the £1.55 per day is accurate then I can expect a yearly bill of sub £600 and maybe just over £500 as the summer gas usage would be about 100 kWh of gas.Someone please tell me what money is0
