Hi all,
So on the Octopus website on the Electric meter reading page, it states the last reading was on the 23rd of each month. I always submit my reading s on the 1st of each month. and it's roughly 400 units less than my reading.
Does anyone else get this? (Gas is spot on btw)0 -

I used to submit mine on the 1st of each month and then I have changed it to the 8th. All my usages and fees showing on bills are as expected. If you wish to pay for what you used correctly, I think you should submit your readings on the 23rd.1 -
Send an email to hello@octopus.energy and ask them to change your billing calendar date to your preferred date (1st of each month). If you have a smart meter once they've changed your billing calendar to your preferred date (1st of each month) you won't have to manually submit a meter reading again as it will be done automatically for you on the 1st of each month.

Either get your supplier to change your billing date to the day after you provide a meter reading, or you provide the meter reading the day before your billing date.1

I originally did what deefadog is doing when Octopus initially installed my SMETS2 meters and confused the billing cycle. Octopus contacted me and told me about the facility for them to change the billing date to my desired date and all has been fine since. The option to change the billing date should perhaps be available to us as end users?0
