I'm just wondering why Direct Debit payments which have been collected are sitting for days showing "Pending payment. A payment of £XXX.XX hasn't yet been applied"?You would have thought that once it had been collected from your bank it would be added to your Octopus balance instantaneously.0

Ok. Just for information, my Avro final bill was published on the my.avro site today. Readings submitted around 26 September used to produce the bill. Otherwise, all as expected.Octopus account (new both forms) also updated.I'll submit meter readings tomorrow.

I’ve just downloaded my final Avro statement, calculated from readings submitted end of September when requested. Credit balance transferred to Octopus. All looks correct. My first Octopus direct debit was due yesterday so will be taken tomorrow and is showing as ‘pending’ on my Octopus account. I was going to take readings on 1st but will probably do it tomorrow as this looks like being a busy week for me. Hopefully first Octopus statement will show fairly promptly and then I’ll know exactly where I stand in terms of account balance, but not expecting any huge surprises.

SoLR'd from Avro to Octopus, final and accurate bill from Avro available today and credit balance showing in my Octopus balance history. The question I have is...As Octopus are now reading my SMETS1 meters, do I need to submit manual meter readings in order to generate a bill? or will this happen automatically on a given date in the month?0

If you have a traditional (non-smart) meter, just send us a meter reading any time you’d like an up-to-date bill, and we’ll send you an accurate statement within a few daysN. Hampshire, he/him.
