My bill is now showing on the Avro site.
The bill is correct as is my credit.
The readings I gave on the 26th Sept. have been used.
Just waiting to see the credit on my Octopus account and then I`ll enter latest readings, although I did enter them on the 10th Nov.

I have to say, I'm rather impressed. My final Avro statement is on the Octopus site under view my bills. They have used the meter readings I gave them on 27th September.

Avro went bust only 12 days after my DD so they've billed me for the 12 days and transferred the balance over to my Octopus account and everything looks in order.

I'm a bit unsure whether to submit further readings as I have a Smets1 meter which they don't appear to be accessing but I'll just bang some readings in at some point and it should be job done.

If your SMETS1 meter is made by Secure it will eventually start working. If it's made by another company it may never work as a smart meter until the mythical software upgrade happens to allow it.

Just received my Avro final bill which is the same amount that is now on my Octopus account £219cr. I never cancelled my Avro d/d and never created an Octopus d/d. Just waiting to find out from Octopus if my Avro d/d will definitely be migrated over to Octopus before I do anything else.
I'm the same , everything seems to be correct, my credit, meter readings and final bill!  Again it just depends now whether i start a new direct debit on my octopus page or whether i need to do anything at all!

I think I will just leave the Avro d/d running for the time being as all the correspondence from Octopus has told me it will get migrated across.

My SMETS 1 meter is giving me 30 minute readings the day after the electric is used it was put in by BG in July 2015 when I opted for their free electric plan. it is also showing the SDC on the meter which it had previously stopped doing in September 2019.
Someone please tell me what money is

Your smart meter type and who it was made by along with the Serial No will be listed on the New Dashboard page under Electricity where your Tariff name is shown. Mine shows the following and was supplied in 2015 when I was with EON.
    Meter type:
    Smart (SMETS1)
    Made by:
    SECURE E1S0B1

Try turning things off at the socket rather than putting them in standby and teach others in the family to do the same. If I don't want an appliance on then it's off at the socket, only appliances left on 24/7 is the fridge, freezer & router. Everything else is off.
The power appliances use in standby is far more than it states in the instruction manuals. Your TV's are possibly Smart TV's and thus connected to the net even in standby it's using more than the instruction manual says games consoles are the same.
My grandparent used to turn everything off if not in use, my mother was the opposite leaving it in standby even though accessing the power off switch on the socket meant just leaning over the appliance.

My final bill is available on the Avro and Octopus site and uses the readings I provided. My credit balance, which included a direct debit payment to Avro after 26th Sept, has transferred over to Octopus. Well done Octopus!
