    Yeah me too.
The closing  meter readings are in the Avro bill that appears on the Octopus website, so they have them.
I guess they just need to generate a starting bill.
If you submit meter readings, I think Octopus will generate your first bill.

I'm pretty sure Octopus will want the meter reading data in a format they can upload to the Octopus system. The Octopus Dashboard still does not show the opening meter readings from Avro and they can't produce any statements until they are on the Octopus system.
There might be a delay until the meter reading data is data is provided by Avro's administrators and a further delay until Octopus are in a position to create the first Octopus statements for ex-Avro customers.

Octopus also need more than the balance from the Avro final bill for accounts that left their DD in place after Avro ceased. That could still take some time, bit it looks promising.

  • Communication with customers mid-switch to Avro at the time of their collapse remains poor. We still have not had our meters added to our Octopus accounts. We don't even know whether we will get an Avro "final bill", since it's questionable whether we ever really joined Avro in the first place.

If you submit your current meter readings to Octopus online then they will use them to generate a bill. I don't think it matters that the Avro final readings are yet displayed on the Octopus account - they must know them to generate a current balance.

Octopus can't produce statements without the opening meter readings from Avro being on the Octopus system. They have no opening meter readings on the Octopus system to start billing from.
I have already submitted meter readings for the end of October and no Octopus statement has been produced.

Well, you may be correct but if my credit/debit balance was showing on my Octopus account, I would be submitting meter readings - if only to see what happens; I could always submit fresh ones later, if needed.

Reading above it seems that Octopus are producing Avro`s final bills, so they must know what Avro`s final readings are and obviously what their first readings will be to issue their first bill.

I expect it will be about 7 days before I get a final bill from Avro as that's about the time frame I was behind with everything else.
Someone please tell me what money is
