No last up to date statement for my account but I should have known when the last bill was ready on 22/9/21 that something was wrong with Avro but my final bill I expect to be less than £10.
Someone please tell me what money is
  • I can't get on the asset site, I was only with them for 3 weeks before they went. So you'd thought that my final bill would be easy. I'm 170ish in credit.

In fact yours wouldn't be any easier or harder than anyone else. We're on a long list which they will get through in their own good time.
FWIW I can't log in to the assets site either and I don't know (or much care) why. I submitted readings around 26th September and not a peep from Avro since. No worries ! :)

No update from Octopus since last Friday, probably get one today.

Two more have gone bust, all down to Ofgem`s lack of financial scrutiny.

Are you suggesting that the chocolate teapot isn't fit for purpose? ;)

From what I can see, anything that has got Of in front of it, is as useful as a chocolate fireguard. ;)

Just to let people know that my Avro Credit Balance from the Avro final bill has transferred to my Octopus account today and is now showing in my Octopus Dashboard.
I just need Avro to transfer the meter reading data to Octopus and for Octopus to create my first bill and it will be job done.
EDIT: Just had an email from Octopus as follows and Avro's final bill is now available in my Octopus Dashboard:-
    Hello XXXXXXX,

We've just heard from Avro that they've calculated your final bill for account XXXXXXXXXXX. You'll find it in your Octopus online account, it should also be available in the usual spot on Avro's website.

Your final Avro bill includes a credit of £XXXXX that has been automatically transferred to your Octopus account. The good news is this means your Avro account is now closed, and your transfer to Octopus is now complete.

If you'd prefer to dispute the final credit, we'll ask a few questions and review your case on an individual basis. If that's the case, just let us know by reply to this email. Love & power,
    The Octopus Energy team

PS. In all cases, "Avro" refers to Avro Energy Limited (in Administration).

    Yeah me too.
The closing  meter readings are in the Avro bill that appears on the Octopus website, so they have them.
I guess they just need to generate a starting bill.

If you submit meter readings, I think Octopus will generate your first bill.

I'm pretty sure Octopus will want the meter reading data in a format they can upload to the Octopus system. The Octopus Dashboard still does not show the opening meter readings from Avro and they can't produce any statements until they are on the Octopus system.
There might be a delay until the meter reading data is data is provided by Avro's administrators and a further delay until Octopus are in a position to create the first Octopus statements for ex-Avro customers.
