Just did a quick bit of Googling...I think you can get details by going here and putting your postcode in (tick the domestic + flexible boxes in the filters) - name of the tariff is Flexible Octopus October 2021 v1 I believe:t1redmonkey said:Does anyone have details of exactly what the tariff details are (price per kwH etc)? I just see that they're calling it the 'Flexible Octopus' tariff at the moment.

I think these are the rates for me (based on being in south wales) - obviously will be different depending on region:Electricity
- Unit rate:20.58 p/kWh
- Standing charge:24.86 p/day
Gas
- Unit rate:3.95 p/kWh
- Standing charge:23.85 p/day

Electric
Standing charge 23.5
Unit rate 21.4
Gas
Standing charge 23.85
Unit rate 3.84
It is flexible so how long it will stay at this price?
Forgot to mention I'm North West England.

It will vary by region. The current Flexible Octopus rate shown at https://octopus.energy/tariffs/ will be a good guide as that looks pretty close to the price cap to me, and they've stated it will be £10 under the cap.t1redmonkey said:Does anyone have details of exactly what the tariff details are (price per kwH etc)? Energy prices going one way and that is up - why anyone would even bother going for a Variable rate is beyond me0

I'm just going to let my switch to BG Evolve proceed I think, since the rates are pretty similar to these Octopus ones (except it's fixed so at least I'm guaranteed them).0
