Your prices (including VAT) are:
- A standing charge of 24.11p per day and 20.49p/kWh for your electricity.
- A standing charge of 26.11p per day and 4.13p/kWh for your gas.

No, it's not that. Prices vary by region. Yours are exactly the same as ballisticbrian's, in Southern region:ballisticbrian said:I seem to be the most expensive compared to the last 3 or 4 quoted. In Hampshire:Your prices (including VAT) are:

It looks like its better for me to go for the following deal with separate companies:
Utility warehouse for Gas
SC = 17.96
UNIT RATE = 4.167
NEON REEF for Electric
SC = 17.23
UNIT RATE = 16.498
Compare that to what OCT are offering currently:- A standing charge of 24.11p per day and 20.49p/kWh for your electricity.
- A standing charge of 26.11p per day and 4.13p/kWh for your gas.
What are your thoughts people?

No reason not to go for it, the worst that can happen is that one, other or both cease trading and you are then moved to the appointed solr which could be octopus1

You can`t go anywhere until your Octopus account is up and running and from what they said it will be at least the end of Novenber, by which time the deal you are looking at will be gone or the two companies will be.xlnc99 said:It looks like its better for me to go for the following deal with separate companies:

Nothing to stop you attempting a move, just means it'll take longer to get any credit owed.2010 said:

That lower SC is when take out Phone/Broadband/Mobile Double Gold bundle, otherwise SC is marginally lower than Octopus, kwh rate marginally higher than Octopusxlnc99 said:It looks like its better for me to go for the following deal with separate companies:

My rate is now showing on the Octopus site and it is different to the email I had. 2p lower on the leccy, which is nice. (didn't expect it to track this quick)
Now to change direct debit amount and date for payment.1 -
