  • Tried switching my remaining Tesco account, but they're not accepting them from Tesco (it will tell you on the application form, when you enter the sort code). Which is a bit of a bummer. Fortunately, I have another account I'm happy to part with.

Also going the option of getting the application/switch process going ASAP, then just setting up a couple of DDs on it, once set up.

The latest MSE weekly email claims that this is the first Santander cash bribe for 9 years, and talks about 'upfront cash'.

Yeah, that bit made me chuckle.

Waiting at least 60, and up to 90, days for the cash is hardly "upfront" !

They were offering a free £100 in January 2012:

'If Not?' -  but waiting 90 days to find out .... and if it doesn't and the offer's over... ?
Pretty sure you can open an additional PO saver without problem, and DD that?
  • having read this thread i take it that as i took part in the amazon refer a friend offer in 2019 receiving £250 for my codes used i wont qualify for this offer?

Like many MSE users, my OH and I benefited from the 2019 Amazon refer a friend offer. My understanding is that having participated in the £50 refer a friend offer means you have had a switching bonus already and do not qualify for this offer.
Good luck to the new generation of switchers!
