Has anyone had notification of increased tarriff for BG yet? I still haven't, and if they apply the new price cap tomorrow, they will be in breach of their own contract.
I've just supplied meter readings for today and went to look at the tarriff details and it states they are 'unavailable', so I'm expecting them to be trying to charge the new price cap from tomorrow and I will therefore have to argue with them about it!February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

"What do I need to do next?
There's nothing you need to do - you’ll be switched automatically from Price Promise Apr 2022 to Standard Variable from 1st May and your account will be updated with the new rates."
I also got a text message this morning asking me to reply with meter readings ahead of the price cap increase. Either way, provide meter readings today/tomorrow to make sure there is a clear line as to which meter readings relate to which period. You can then dispute the post 01 Apr costs down the line if they overcharge you.

Thanks @PRAISETHESUN it's good to know they've contacted you at least. I've double and triple checked and I still don't have anything from them.
I've already entered my meter readings today. And will dispute tomorrow if necessary.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Has anyone been able to speak to British Gas? I've been trying and no luck. It relates to the bill they took on from a previous supplier.0

I assume their systems are overloaded from everyone trying to provide meter readings today. Haven't been able to get on their site at all...Service temporarily unavailable Important information We're really sorry we're having issues with the number of people submitting meter reads today so are having problems with our website and long call wait times. Don't worry if you can't submit your meter read with us right now, we're working hard to get our website and app back up and running so please try again later. If you can't do it today, we'll also have a form available online so you'll still be able to send us your reading from the 31st March over the next few days which we'll use to make sure you bill is accurate. If you have a smart meter, we'll get your reads automatically so no need to send us a read. If you have a fixed price tariff there is no rush to send us an updated read as your prices aren't changing right now. If you're looking to top-up your meter, You're still able to use our automated phone service 24/7 on 0333 009 5698 – just choose option 1. You can also top up at Payzone outlets or the Post Office too.

Penelopa.Pitstop said:Debt from PfP has been applied to my gas account with British Gas. I had complaint open with them and at the beginning of July they agreed to recalculate my bills due to faulty gas meter. It took them so long to recalculate and send me new bill, that they went bust and now I'm saddled with paying for usage which wasn't real. I don't see a way to complain to anybody about it. I doubt administrator will want to discus it and recalculate my bill based on previous agreement.
It's f****ng mindblowing how totally messed up and incompetent the whole El & Gas business is.0 -
I'm pleased to report that they haven't increased the tarriff and it still says its valid until end of April. Phew.February wins: Theatre tickets0

I wrote email to administrators at the address I found on Offgem website. Will print the same and send by post too. I'm not happy to pay £289 for the gas I didn't use, due to faulty meter and lack of promised re-calculation of bills before PfP went bust.

Well, email doesn't exist ... just got undelivered mail.

I'm extremely puzzled by the energy statements (pdfs) that I've downloaded from BG. When my account balance is in debit (i.e. negative) it's not shown as such, it simply says £123.45 or whatever. This seems insane, does anybody else see this?Stompa0

Mine says CR for credit.
nothing noted for a debit balance but as it’s a bill I don’t think that’s unusual.0
