I've also received my final bill from PFP. The closing reads are different to the British Gas opening reads. So there is 250kwh electricity and 40m3 gas that I've not been charged for.
PFP also seems to have used a low calorific value of 35.3 to calculate the gas kwh.
Anyone else experienced this? Should I expect and revised opening bill from British Gas?0 -

I had open complaint from June 2021 and PfP promised to recalculate my bill due to faulty meter. I have it all in writing. They were taking so long hat they went bust.
My final bill from PfP isn't calculated as agreed and basically I'm in debt by £200 for energy that I never used.
Who do I complain? There's nothing about not agreeing with the bill or who to contact .0 -
My final bill shows a small bit for September as expected, but then they've taken a full month's direct debit for October too, even though I'd been gone for a month by then.0

PFP Final Bill received by post today. How novel, haven't received an energy bill by post for years, I do wonder if that's extracting the best value out of PFP for the creditors. Maybe they couldn't restore the billing facility to the website after they'd removed it.
Bill is correct based on the readings I gave back in September. As already reported incresed non-DD standing charge as I'd cancelled the DD as soon as they went under. Not worth arguing about a couple of quid though.
Still need BG to bill me for the gap as well as give me the PFP credit.2 -
Also had my final bill from PFP yesterday, and also had a slightly higher standing charge than previously. Amounts to a difference of exactly £2, so I'm not arguing it.
Again, they have used a different calorific rate for the gas than BG (and to what they previously used). Its a minor difference as our gas usage between the last bill and them going bust was only 4 cubic metres lol
I knew I owed a bit to PFP, but didn't think it would be that much. That is partly due to the meter reading I submitted being from 20 September as I didn't do it sooner. So another £211 to add to the next BG bill 😔
And like everyone else, the bill is up to 11 September, and BGs opening bill is from 4 October. Though I've calculated the difference between the meter readings, and the extra amounts to approx £40. I assume this will also be accounted for in the next invoice.
Luckily I have been putting away extra to cover this bill, including the monthly amount of council tax that I don't have to pay in Feb and March (pay over 10 mobths), and the council tax rebate will also go in that pot.
I'll be glad when it's all straightened out to be honest.
