Okay, I can now see the new bill from BG. They have picked up my pfp reading of the 10th September 2021 and recalculated consumption cost. So that should be that on the transfer, (other than final bill from pfp).Fashion on the Ration 2025 37/660

Further to my post, I received the final bill from pfp. For some reason the pfp standing charge was increased from19.22p/day to 25.7417p/day and BG has managed to lose 40p of my credit.
Perhaps there is an electricity equivalent of angel's share. I think I'll let it lie.Fashion on the Ration 2025 37/660 -

I suspect it is due to IT systems.

I received a letter from PFP yesterday regarding a bill for 2018! The letter is dated 2018 and says I'm to pay it by June 2018.
The final page refers to PFPES customers being transferred to British Gas from September 2021.
I was with them in the past (moved to Bulb). After moving, they told me to ignore the demands and they'd take the money by Direct Debit. No email from them since 2018.
Would be grateful for advice.

So I got my final bill from PFP in the post yesterday. It looks to be correct based on my records of meter readings I took and provided to PFP and BG around the time they went under. The difference between what I was expecting to receive as a credit and what I actually received appears to be related to usage for the week between my 01st September bill and when they went under, which is fair enough.euronorris said:Has anyone had notification from BG yet about the new tarriff from 1 May?
No word of anything special that I'm aware of. I'm assuming everyone will move to their SVT using the new Apr price cap unless you decide to lock in a fix now.stutakesphotos said:I received a letter from PFP yesterday regarding a bill for 2018! The letter I got said that BG will now be in charge of managing all credits/debits for PFP. I don't know if this includes legacy billing, but I'd assume so. Personally I'd hang onto the letter and wait to see if you hear anything else about it from BG - legally they have 6 years to chase you for the money.
If it relates to genuine usage that you owe then you should pay it, but make sure the bill is correct and you haven't already paid for it previously - I don't think you'll have a fun time trying to get your money back if you pay them anything in error.1
